One way ticket

I often hear a sentence: "I bought a one way ticket."

The 21st century is the age of technology. It is the century in which some things, that we used to see in movies, really happen. Robots change workers in markets. Robots change workers in banks. People made self-driving, driverless car. We will be able to teleport ourselves soon. 😊 All of this influences young people to leave their smaller cities and move from them to larger ones, to enjoy as much as they can the 21st century.

One way ticket is a solution to make a dream come true. At least that is what we say when we buy that ticket. You get somewhere where the air doesn't smell like in your country. You are hungry and people are eating something else. You find something that you eat in your country, so you rejoice, but you don't know how to order, you don't know their language. Okay, a little with your hands, a little with your feet, you understand but you don't have enough money to pay. Is that what the one way ticket offers? At once, the fairy tale breaks down. You wonder if it is true that you are there, that everything around you shines and that the dream is not easy to dream?

One job, another job, you learned the language, you became safe, you don't have to do two jobs anymore, hey, the dream comes true! Wait, it's been 10 years, you haven't seen your parents, brother, sister, you didn't get married. Again a big question appears. Is that what the one way ticket offers?

You fall in love, you get one child, another child, hey, the dream comes true. But wait, some woman you don't know, takes care of your children. You pay her a lot and on the other hand, your parents dream of embracing their grandchildren. Same question again. Is that what the one way ticket offers?

I think that it is the best to buy return tickets. There are many reasons why I say that. There is a saying in my language, go everywhere, but come back to your house. So travel, get to know different countries, different cultures, but let your place of departure and arrival be your city where everyone knows you, where you feel at home. 😊
