Day 25: 11th Image
June 8, 2022
The photo was taken in the first week of May. I don't usually keep screenshots and photos which doesn't have relevance on my phone as it only consumes my memory. But this is an exception as it is a memoir for me and something that reminds me that I'm a part of a bigger world.
It inspires me to work even when I don't know what lies ahead. The stairs and their steps are a wonderful representation of how we should move and go on with life. We don't have a clear view of what is waiting for us at our destination especially when we are still about to take the first step. But even so, it is important to move our feet forward because there is no other way to deal with life but to face it head-on.
As we take our first step, we can either hold the handrail or confidently walk through the rest of the steps of the stairs without needing support. Nevertheless, how we walk through the stairs determines our personality. Some people might hold the handrail for support because walking through the stairs is an ordeal for them because of some physical problems like rheumatism or arthritis.
Some people hold the handrail not because they are not confident but because they just want their way of walking to be more poised and consistent. Some people walk through the steps hastily to the point of running. Some people don't hold the handrail either and stay in the middle.
You see our personalities are reflected in the way we walk through the stairs. The handrail serves as the people that we consider our support system. The steps represent our journey and what is at the end of the stairs can be likened to our future.
We don't know what lies ahead of us as we take the first steps on the stair but still we continue to take the steps. We hold on to the handrail for support. The handrail can be our family and friends or strangers from that we can draw support. Sometimes we get tired and disappointed after taking a few steps. We even gasp for breath. We think of going back to the first step but after a while, we will realize that we only need to rest. We only need to hold unto our handrails for a while.
Then we will find the courage and determination again to take the next steps. The steps aren't always a straight path. Sometimes we have to turn right or left. It depends on where our journey will lead us but it is still important to be reminded to step forward because there is no other way.
So, to you, please be reminded to step forward even when you don't feel like it. When you feel pressured just hold the handrail and stay with your family and friends. Then continue pressing forward until you get there.
Thanks for reading. Until the next read!

I like how you turn insignificant things into meaningful ways of life. We must find a handrail that will not cause us to fall while walking through the stairs.
