When I'm a child I used to go to church to be with my friends. To have money to buy foods that I want. I become one of those youth who join the Padasal. I am a christian catholic that time. I join because my friends join. I didn't understand that time the true meaning of religion.
I build my serious relationship with God when I'm 13 years old. My cousins always invited me to join their fellowship. First I never expected that it will be fun. Cause I only know my two cousins the rest are new faces to me. Then a lot of fellowship came and I find myself joining without even envited by my cousin haha. I already know them and got a lot of times to bond outside the church. My relationship to God got deeper and deeper. They choose me to join in Praise and Worship Ministry then the year pass and they choose me to be one of the teachers of Children Ministry. I felt cold and worried that time cause I know to myself that I am not that good in teaching, I'm scared, thinking that my students are more knowledgeable about God than me. But they help me to cope up with it. And my students loves me and respects me a lot. They make me feel a real sister of them that needed to be respected. They always hug me whenever they see me even outside the church. They always saying that I am pretty even if my hair are all mess bacause they love to play with it after the session. They love to play outside and got prizes. I felt that I am responsible to them. I am responsible to make them understand and learn what they needed to learn about God. And of course I must be a good role model to them.
And now that we didn't see each other because of the quarantine I miss them so much. I miss to be with them. I miss to play with them. And I am still hoping that they've learned for what I teach them.
Also I've learned that it is not about the religion you joined. It is about your true relationship with God. That will make you save. 😇
