You have heard that Bitcoin transactions are slow and expensive?
Did you know that Bitcoin transactions were intended to be quick and cheap?
Bitcoin was intended to be more than a store of value. Just look at the title.
So where did Bitcoin go wrong?
Bitcoin BTC decided for technical reasons not to scale directly, but to build a scaling layer on top -- which is not ready to use yet.
Thankfully, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) exists. It implemented a straightforward solution to scaling and therefore, it is Bitcoin the way it was intended to be with cheap, quick and reliable transactions.
I made this meme as an illustration. It shows a three-way-comparison between Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin and a bunch of rocks I found at the side of the road. π
What's the real Bitcoin?
If you ask me, it is the coin we call Bitcoin Cash BCH. It is not just a store of value (just like Bitcoin BTC is). BCH is so cheap and easy to use that it can even be used to make micropayments!
Did you know that whenever you send or receive a tip on noise.cash or on read.cash, it is actually sent on the Bitcoin Cash network? No accumulating tips for one month and then grinding your teeth when you actually have to use the network and pay the fees... The Bitcoin Cash fees are so low that you don't even notice them -- just like it used to be for Bitcoin BTC years ago.
Bitcoin Cash is the Bitcoin the way it was intended to be
Don't just take my word for it. Ask yourself "what would Bitcoin Jesus do?" The answer: He stopped promoting Bitcoin BTC and instead he promotes Bitcoin Cash BCH now -- the Bitcoin that stayed true to its roots. Watching this video will probably be the most educational and valuable 2.5 hours of your life:
The best part
While the Bitcoin BTC prices have already taken quite a hike from their recent lows in March 2020 of about $3,500 to a new all-time-high of about $42,000, Bitcoin Cash BCH prices stayed quite modest and went from the March low of about $120 to $500. We haven't even seen a new BCH all-time-high yet. That's about a 4x increase for BCH compared to a 12x increase for BTC.
Therefore, you still can get Bitcoin Cash BCH relatively cheap.
Will BCH stay that cheap forever?
I doubt it. The technology works great as demonstrated 24 hours per day, seven days a week by read.cash and especially by noise.cash.
Will BCH adoption increase?
I'm sure it will. Or do you like paying fees? I know I don't...
