Stir Fried Bittergourd

This is a healthy recipe that have a lot of nutrients in terms of fiber and protein. It is very easy to make also. Likely a salad. It is a bit bitter though.

Ingredients:

  • Bittergourd (8 pieces )

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tomato

  • 1 onion

  • 4 pieces of garlic

Procedure:

  • Cut the Bittergourd into thin slices and soak them in cold water. Set aside as the water seeps the bitterness away.

  • Prepare the eggs as scrambled in one bowl.

  • Cut the onions, garlic, tomatoes into minced pieces

  • Wash the Bittergourd and remove the water.

  • Put oil and sauté garlic, onions, tomatoes, finally add the Bittergourd, stir fry for about 5 minutes, add eggs.

  • Put salt and pepper to taste.
