Everyone has a facade

Everyone has a front, a facade, a face for the world to see, that they bring forward. It is how people around them choose to view them. Truth can be discovered if the front varies from truth. This is especially true of businesses that have a megaphone (i.e. the internet) with many customers. You'll learn a lot more of the facts than the facade of ads reveals.

People bring a façade around as well. Where the front is truth-based, you find something whole, something trustworthy, something real. When the front is built on lies, it will inevitably be identified. However, it's always difficult to penetrate the facade and find out what's true. This is particularly true if it's someone we meet just for a brief period of time.

Someone can carry themselves as if they already have something going well for them. They give off the facade of uber-confidence and the correct answer seems to always be understood. You may be tempted to believe them if you encounter this person, but typically these individuals are some of the most insecure people out there, easily wounded by the slightest remark contrary to their façade. It can seem like all is going well for them, but the reality is that it rarely does.

If we buy into the facade that individuals put before us, it may produce false conceptions of how people perceive life other than our own. The same is the case for our rivals. Just because it looks like they're recruiting and rising, doesn't mean they really are. It can cause you to think less about your own company or person if you buy into the false facades of others. In these cases, you have to see through the façade to interpret correctly and realize that you don't see the whole picture outside of very close relationships.

In addition, if we all want to learn and eventually assist those around us, we must try to see beyond their façade. Before passing judgment or being deluded, as they are, in how they look, we must really strive to understand them. In order to realize that things are often not ideal, this also involves simulating the world around them and understanding that what you see on stage can have no connection with what happens when the curtain closes.

I really don't get the idea why people need facades to begin with. The world is more accepting now to even find the need to. Or at peast it's slowly becoming that way
