"Visiting Maasin Shrine, And just the 3 of us" (Family bonding)

Hello read.cash fam. How are you today? I hope everyone is doing fine.

Happy Easter Sunday guys🙏😇

We already planned last week, that we are going to visit the shrine in Maasin City which is the "Mama Mary Shrine",but it doesn't happened because of the storm Agaton. That is why today which is Sunday, we make sure to visit there, since we made a promise,and we don't want to break it again.

We are so excited to take a trip, so I wake up early I think it was exactly 5:30Am, then I cooked some rice, I don't need to cook for our viand because there are some leftover fish that I bought to the market yesterday. After that I prepare my baby's food, and when the rice is cooked ,I told my partner to eat first because I need to prepare some stuff that we need in our trip, like; wipes for my baby, diaper, water bottle, his small cup, some extra towel, and t-shirts, coz it's gonna be a long trip, and we will just going to ride a motorcycle since we don't own a car,that is why extra t-shirt is a must. Lol!

It's a 38Km long from here in Bato Leyte to Maasin Southern Leyte. It's kind'a long trip and our butt for sure will hurt.haha. So after preparing everything, we then start our trip. My partner is so happy, because before, when we don't have a child yet we use to have a road trip everytime we go for a date. And now it's just the 3 of us, it feels so good to have a little angel with us, who is always sleeping when we have some trip, but ofcourse the way my partner drive his motorcycle is so slow, and he make sure that we will arrive there safe,since our baby is with us, we don't need to hurry so we can avoid and engaged with some accident, we just enjoying our trip while being so careful while driving, and we also ask for the Lord's guidance. We passed to some road that make us feel relax because of its beauty, there are some tall trees that covers you from the heat of the sunlight and that kind of view what me and my partner want, we sometimes need to breath from a very stressful days.

When we arrive at the area, we then start right away walking to the shrine, it's not easy to go up there, because we need to take and conquer more than 300 steps towards the shrine, and it really makes you sweat. When we finally reach the top,we stop for a minute to take some pictures, and then we buy some candles and offer our prayers.

After to shrine we go straight to Jollibee to take there our lunch, we order spaghetti,chicken and burger steak,for drinks it's ice tea and choco floats since they don't have available soda, I feel a little bit sad because I really miss the cokefloat in jabee,but sad to say it's not available,so I did try the Choco float. My baby really enjoy the food he finished one plate of spaghetti,of course it his favorite.

We thank God for all the blessing we received. Then when we finish eating we also visit the Metro supermarket, and do some window shop and after everything we decided to go home. It really feel so good to have that kind of bonding.
