Hatching 21 Eggs for Pet Outline, How It Went?

Hi there! I hope everyone’s having a great day today! I just want to share yet another MyDefiPet adventure that my husband and I had on New Year’s Day.

So on the 31st of December, just a few hours away from welcoming the new year 2022, MyDefiPet’s official Facebook page announced some new changeling. It was something that was very enticing that we thought it would be best for us to take advantage but then we ended up getting a little disappointed. But first, allow me to share with you what the change log was all about.

The first and most important part of this log is the release of the marketplace. This is still an internal test but this allows wallet connection as well as selling, bidding, and buying process. This was what we have all been waiting for and it was released in a new year! How awesome!

Secondly, the pet parts for Bugsy and Winged Pupper. Both pets originally can’t acquire wings accessories but with this log, they can already get them.

Third, the world boss season 4 comes immediately on January 5. How fast! I remember season 3 just ended a week ago and now season 4 is on the way! With this new season, the damage has been adjusted too! One elixir for the first 1000 needs only 10 damage! This is a great opportunity to earn bigger damage! So we have to deploy a pet which will surely incur huge damage to the boss. Also, two new bosses will be released, Infernal Dragon and Cruel Cactus.

According to the log documentation, the two new bosses will have brutal skills such as the following:

Steel Storm: Piercing gale reduces enemies Attack Speed by 50% for 2 seconds.

Planet Fall: Gigantic meteor STUNS all enemies for 2 seconds.

Ice Prison: Scattering ice reduces enemies' Attacks by 25% for 3 seconds.

HellStorm: Burning fire FEARS enemies for 2 seconds.

Black Hole: Singularity power FEARS enemies for 2 seconds.

Luminous Flare: Flashing light STUNS all enemies for 2 seconds

Fourth, new spirit combo. Remember that the burning option before which turns pets to spirits can equip the pets with better statistics. This time, the game allows adding spirit combinations or combos. Here are the details:

• six different elements +100% Status Resistant, this means your pet will resist all the negative buffs from the boss (stun, fear, slow, damage decreased, attack speed decreased...)

• six elements(for example 3 wind elements & 3 earth elements): + some specific stats

Finally, another mini-event will give x10 chance of acquiring a pet with an outline in hatching eggs. This is a very limited offer that runs until January 3 only and so my husband had been wanting to have a pet with an outline because this accessory gives better statistics and so, we spent 100 dollars worth of BNB, bought DPet tokens, and started buying eggs.

The amount gave us 21 eggs! And we were both exciting hatching these eggs! It started with venom and so on, we were like kids who were just shouting and exclaiming in every single egg that we hatch only to be disappointed whenever we don't get a pet with an outstanding statistic.

Sadly, out of 21 eggs, none has an outline and it was heartbreaking! Imagine it happened 21 times and we didn't give up. In fact, we tried resting a bit and just let time move and see if we could get a better result. Sadly, the truth slapped our cheeks with the reality that we don't really have any pets with an outline. Our consolation was that we got another pair of Panderens and Ao Shun pets which were epic and rare.

We checked the social media page for any other pet master who had bought several eggs but nothing with an outline and it seems like there were a lot who invested and yet didn’t get anything that has an outline, poor us.

Anyway, I guess we have to accept this fact and just move on. Since the marketplace is already available, our next move instead is to search for an affordable pet with an outline and just breed it, we’ll see then if we can get an outline for its children.

That’s our sad tale for New Year’s eve with MyDefiPet.
