Many people love to eat sugar or sweet foods. However, experts say that eating extra sugar is not good for health. Sugar is a small chain of carbohydrates. That means the sugar level is high in sugar. So for those who are prone to diabetes in the family, sugar is harmful.

Also, eating extra sugar increases the chances of weight gain. And those who are overweight are more likely to develop high blood pressure, diabetes and other non-communicable diseases. So it is forbidden to eat sugar or sugary foods.

According to experts, a person can eat three to five teaspoons of sugar a day. But in that case you have to keep an eye on how much carbohydrates are coming from other foods and how much is being consumed. Besides, there are some beneficial aspects of sugar. Sugar provides energy quickly, is beneficial for the skin, helps normalize low blood pressure and relieves depression. So it is better to eat moderate food without eating too much sugar or sweet food.

Can't leave the sugar after hundreds of attempts. When you see sweet things, water comes in your pocket. It becomes difficult to control yourself. There are some people who can't stop eating chocolate. So is this thing, sugar, a kind of addiction? Recently, scientists are giving many interesting information about this. In prehistoric times there was no sugar, instead honey and sweet fruit. They are broken down in different steps and mixed with the blood of the body. Processed sugar (refined sugar) is not. These are absorbed directly into the bloodstream and reach the brain.
Nowadays confectionery is made of concentrated sugar or high fructose syrup and sucrose, they are more intoxicating. Researchers say that sugar does not signal the complete satisfaction of our taste buds, as salt can. After eating a little salt or non-salty food, your taste buds will tell you that you have had enough, and can no longer eat. This is not the case with sugary foods. As a result, you can eat a lot of chocolate bars at once or you may want to eat more after eating a whole packet of sweet cookies. This desire dies shortly after a salty meal. Scientists at the American Heart Institute have noticed that processed sugar or white sugar repeatedly arouses the urge to eat, and if not eaten, it again causes withdrawal (physical reaction after quitting when addicted to a food)! Both of these are drug specialties.

When sugar lovers try to give up sugar, the brain becomes deficient in dopamine (a type of chemical secreted by the brain). As a result, they become depressed, irritable, and in a bad mood. Young children sometimes become hyperactive. However, they say that people are addicted to sugar, people are different, some less, some more.

Now the question is, is white sugar really bad? But why do we say that glucose or sugar is the source of all energy in the body or eating sugar increases intelligence? In fact, the sugar we are talking about here is not white sugar, this sugar means sugar. There is no objection to 50 to 60 percent sugar in a balanced diet. But those sugars have to be complex sugars. What we usually eat every day — rice, bread, cereals, fruits, various vegetables — has a lot of sugar hidden in them. These foods are broken down into glucose after digestion.

From glucose we collect the necessary energy. White sugar but not that. White sugar is sucrose, which does not need to be broken down, dissolves quickly in the blood and increases the amount of sugar in the blood. Our metabolic system cannot handle this sugar because in the past there was no sugar, the source of sugar was grains or fruits and for this reason the metabolic system did not develop in our body in that way. So this extra sugar then starts to accumulate in the body as a kind of fat (triglyceride). So eating white sugar not only increases weight and sugar, it also increases fat. The result is obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, fatty liver and many more. There are other bad aspects besides this. For example, white sugar increases food addiction and appetite, erodes tooth enamel, and it contains a lot of calories but does not have the necessary elements like fiber, vitamins, minerals, etc. These are quite good for complex sugars. So there is no need to eat sugar to get sugar, most of the food around us has sugar. White sugar is nothing more than an added harmful ingredient in that place.
