Corruption is one of the deadliest social problems in Bangladesh - because it is contagious and not easy to cure. Corruption has become a class of people today. Corruption has spread from the highest levels of state administration to the lowest echelons of society. In this situation, progress in national development cannot be hindered.

Bangladesh is immersed in a cycle of boundless corruption. He is seen everywhere in the position of corruption. Unintentional digestion of loans, illegal occupation of government property, embezzlement of government resources, theft of electricity-water-gas, evasion of income-tax-sales tax and duty, opening of companies in the name of jobs, stock market fraud, smuggling, black market, Over invoice, under invoice - where is the corruption? There has been corruption even with the wheat allotted for the needy mothers, the clothes allotted for the orphans in the orphanage, the relief tin allotted for the afflicted people. Despite the tests, corruption is rampant. It is unthinkable that there is corruption in determining the place in the merit list. The government has set up anti-corruption agencies to tackle corruption. But during the tenure of the previous governments, the ghost of corruption has also taken root there. Helpless people expect justice there, corruption has broken the rule of law in that justice system. Bangladesh has recently been ranked as one of the most corrupt countries in the world for its omnipresent form of corruption. The countrymen have to accept huge losses with high prices for massive corruption.

The daily life of the common man is plagued by the horrors of corruption in Bangladesh. Politics, economy, education, administration, judiciary have all been corrupted by omnipresent corruption. Terrorist character has taken corruption through extortion, tender bazaar, litigation, toll bazaar etc., which is called terrorist corruption.
