According to an address disclosed by Vitalik Buterin in October 2018, the 27-year-old Ethereum founder now holds over $1 billion worth of ETH in his main wallet. Ethereum's price surge has made Buterin the youngest cryptocurrency billionaire and the second youngest self-made billionaire behind only Austin Russell.
The cryptocurrency launched in 2015, and now Buterin holds about 333,500 ether in his public wallet. Multiply that by the $3,500 record high ether stood at on Tuesday, and you get more than $1.1 billion. Not bad.
