Interacting with chatGPT

One of the new trends in the Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence now is chatGPT. It is a bot that interacts through conversation to different users by answering questions and even making short codes.

I am curious and I tried to this chatGPT bot.

The first instruction that I gave is "create java program for display Hello World".

The bot then quickly replied

It gave the code and then provide an explanation about the solution given.

Then I ask to create a Hospital Database, here is the response. This short code actually gives the idea of what will be the tables, the columns with data types and even the constraints in databases.

There is even a "copy code" feature that one can copy.

I tried an essay type of question "What is the difference between DDL and DML?" Here's the answer.

The answer actually is very comprehensive and even giving examples to support the answer.

What is the pros and cons of this chatGPT?

It can help in answering or solving problems. It can help beginners learn simple codes and have to try it themselves. It can help in finding answers to questions. It can give short codes needed for programs, databases, web designing.

On the other hard, here is the negative side. The students or people might depend on it very much that they will just copy and paste the code and not minding of trying and understanding it. They will no longer learn in this process.

Another important thing is, since it is a bot, it can have mistakes too. The answers given should also be verified because there are also mistakes. The bot is trained and depend on the data inputs in it.
