THE DANGEROUS EFFECTS OF MARIJUANA
The immediate side effects of marijuana use include rapid heartbeat, dizziness, lack of coordination on various parts of the body, often followed by depression or drowsiness. Other users experience panic attacks or anxiety.
But that is not where the problem ends. According to scientific studies, the active ingredient in cannabis, THC, stays in the body for several weeks or months more.
Marijuana smoke contains 50% to 70% more cancer-causing substances than tobacco smoke. A large research has reported that studies that a single cannabis joint can cause serious lung damage such as five regular cigarettes smoked one after another. Often suffers from bronchitis, inflammation of the airways in the body, long-term users of the joint.
Drugs can affect your physical health. Australian studies in 2008 attributed many years of severe marijuana use to brain abnormalities. This is supported by preliminary research into the long-term effects of marijuana, which show brain changes such as the causes of long-term abuse of other more important drugs. And several studies have shown a connection between persistent marijuana use and insanity.
Marijuana alters the structure of sperm cells, destroying them.
So even small amounts of marijuana can cause temporary infertility in men. Marijuana use can also damage a woman's monthly visits.
Studies show that the mental abilities of people who smoke excessive amounts of marijuana are declining. THC in cannabis stimulates nerve cells in the brain that affect memory.
Cannabis is one of the few drugs that causes abnormal cell division that leads to severe hereditary defects. A pregnant woman who regularly smokes marijuana or hashish may give birth early and prematurely to a small, lightweight baby. Over the past 10 years, many children of marijuana users have been born with low intelligence and reduced ability to concentrate and pursue life goals. Studies also suggest that prenatal (prenatal) drug use can cause birth defects, mental abnormalities and an increased risk of leukemia in children.
