BukoPie 🥥❤️

2 1/2 c All purpose flour 1/2 c warm milk 1/2 tsp. Instant yeast 1/2 c butter or Lard 1/2 c sugar

Filling: 1 1/2 Buko (juice included) 1/4 c Potato starch Vanilla extract or lemon zest 1/4 c sugar or Condensed milk

Procedure: Crust:

  1. Activate yeast gamit yung warm milk + 2 tsp sugar. (set aside 2 min.)

  2. IN a mixing Bowl, Mix all dry Ingredients, gradually add yeast mixture mix until well combined.. THEN add melted butter or Lard. MIX, roll and Knead until smooth texture. Rest 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs.

  3. After umalsa Yung dough konti.. Divide into two pieces saka i flatten gamit yung rolling pin. Ilagay sa baking pan na my parchment paper or just grease a Lil bit oil. Fill the Buko filling depend sa kapal na gusto nyo saka ilagay Yung second crust ng pie na flatten Para pang takip sa ibabaw..press nyo Lang around the border or I fold konti.. Pagkatapos tusikin s I babaw gamit yung tinidor at brush ng egg wash on top.

Filling: Simmer nyo Lang Yung Buko Strips/bite size include Yung juice lagyan ng asukal or Condensed milk. Last minute lagay Yung cornstarch na Naka dilute sa Tubig. Stir until maging thick paste ( cooking time 7 min.) NO need na palamigin..
