It has been drizzling since I woke up. It was so cold earlier and even now. I got up by 3:00am and cooked my partner’s breakfast and lunch. So we went to my Jowa’s older brother to finalize the arrangements we made for tomorrow’s work. They were actually just finishing a bottle of rum when we arrived. As you can see, they’re using a kerosene lamp. Unfortunately, the electric company cut off their line a month ago because they weren’t able to pay their dues on time. So! This is it for tomorrow! My second cup of coffee for today. It looks brown because I added two tablespoon of Ovaltine. Hahaha! I like the taste. Coffee and chocolate makes a mocha flavor. I learned this when I was in high school attending a seminar. One of the pantry in-charge was my relative. She told me to add a bit of coffee in to my hot Milo drink and I liked it.

Look what I found! A heart shape moringa leaf! This was actually last night. I was preparing the moringa leaf that I added into the mungbean stew. I converted .08 worth of BCH to fiat. That is ₱1500. Additional capital for my small business at home. They are all traveling to NorthCotabato, I am left all alone in our house. Jowa already went to work and be back before dark. So I guess I’ll just have to clean the house today. Binignit. Our generous and kind neighbor gave us this steamy and not so sweet binignit for merienda. I was preparing the green bananas to boil when my brother-in-law said that there is a binignit on the table. I didn’t see it and did not know that she came by because I fell asleep. We went to the town after lunch to buy an additional one liter of herbicide, I was tired. Well, it is still gloomy at our place but I am glad that it did not rain for the past hours. Yayyy!

So aside from getting an important document, I bought a brand new charger. I had to buy because I was using my sister’s charger and she always bring it with her whenever they travel. How inconvenient for me. Hahaha! Nah!

It’s already 6:20am but it still looks and feels like 5:30am. As usual, I woke up in a cold place. Moderate flood and landslide advisory had been posted.. despite all of these, it’s still a good morning!!! Lemme just wrap myself in my blanket for few minutes. So warm and soft and smells good.

Most of our chickens died last year. Around a hundred of it died in October. We had to quarantine the healthy ones so it lay eggs in the future. So here’s the eggs from the chicken we quarantined. Hah! That’s a dozen of eggs and that means a dozen of new baby chickens. Yayyy!! I think the hen will lay few more eggs.

Another rainy day. Just watching a funny cartoon show. I went out earlier just to check around and guess what, I found a hideous tiny creature just outside of our house! Leech! I poured it with rubbing alcohol and put a tablespoonful of rock salt. It isn’t moving anymore. It looks scary! I don’t like slimy, crawling creatures.

Who else were able to use this kind of computer monitor? Back then, computer mouse was considered as a luxury item. Haha! You have to familiarize yourself with the Function keys to navigate. I wish i took it seriously and learned it by heart when I was in fifth and sixth Grade. I was terrified when I first touched the power button and the keyboard. My classmates were the rich kids of our town, of course they have PCs at their homes. They were so good at it while I s*ck…

The phone speaker wasn’t working. My sister was teasing me to buy a new phone. Lol! Imagine watching a YouTube tutorial without a sound. Haha! I cleaned the headphone jack and voila! It resolved the issue.

Pagka gising ko eh nag panic ako kasi madilim na! Magsasaing na talaga sana ako kasi akala ko mag 6:00pm na. Buti na lang nakita ako ng ate ko. Nagtanong kung ano lulutuin ko. Sagot ko kanin. Sabi niya ang aga ko pa daw magsaing kaya nagtanong ako ng oras. Jusme! Pasado alas tres pa pala?! Hahaha!

Paksiw na isda ang ulam namin, as usual bago sumubo nagtanong kung madaming tinik ba daw ang isda. Hahaha! Sabi ko meron yang tinik, kaw na bahala maghanap kasi big ka na. Hayun, binalatan ang isda, di kinain ang maitim na part at ang daming natira. Hahaha! Ay dapat lang na matuto siyang maghimay ng isda. Busog na yan siya…

A sunny and windy afternoon. We have a beautiful weather today! Yayyy! We took advantage of it, and we went to our cornfield to apply the fertilizer and the herbicide. I’ll relax a bit and I hope it will not rain later in the afternoon because I need to put the poles for my beans.

Steamed okra. That was my dinner. I also made a calamansi, vinegar and chili dip. I am awake now and currently cooking Jowa’s breakfast and lunch. I’ll just make scramblled eggs for breakfast and he’ll have chorizo for lunch. I am still sleepy.

Last night umeskapo yan sa mama niya. Gusto daw niya tumabi sa akin. Di na siya nakakuha ng mga unan niya at kumot sa kwarto kasi takot na hindi na siya palabasin. Haha! Yan tulog pa siya at mukhang nilalamig. Gigising na yan maya-maya. Malamig at maulan na umaga po sa inyo! Anong ganap natin today? Ako neto eh stay inside nanaman sa loob ng bahay. Maglalaba na lang muna ako mamaya.
