Hello, today I will share with you how to avoid unpleasant foot odor.
It happens to all of us that sometimes our feet stink, it is normal that our feet sweat after almost summer.
I went through it all myself so I decided to share with you these 4 ways to avoid it all so here you read.
Although we mostly wear shorts and T-shirts during the summer, many of us have to wear closed shoes, which leads to problems with unpleasant odors.
Closed shoes and high temperatures cause unpleasant foot odor, even infections such as athletic foot. An unpleasant odor and infection occurs when bacteria that live on your skin come in contact with sweat. This in turn creates acids that have an unpleasant odor.
Bacteria and fungi love heat, moisture and darkness, so your shoes are a great place to live.
Here are some tips on how to prevent unpleasant foot odors:
Washing your feet
Thorough foot cleaning is more than a quick shower rinse. It is recommended to wash your feet in a mixture of water and vinegar
Combine 2 amounts of warm water with 1 amount of vinegar in a large bowl or tub. Soak your feet for 15 to 20 minutes once a week. It doesn't matter if you use alcohol or apple cider vinegar. Vinegar makes your hair inhospitable to bacteria. One note - do not use this mixture if you have open wounds or scratches.
Regular foot drying
Do not neglect wiping your feet after bathing, diving or swimming. The unpleasant smell comes from moisture, so it is important to have dry feet, shoes and socks.
If your feet sweat during the day, be sure to wear spare socks that you will change during the lunch break or after training.
You can help keep your feet dry by choosing cotton socks. And by choosing shoes made of natural materials such as cotton or leather. These natural materials allow moisture to evaporate.
Footwear disinfection
Are your shoes surrounded by a cloud of unpleasant odor even when you are not wearing them. You don't have to throw them away. A general purpose disinfectant spray that you use in the kitchen can help you fight the strong smell from your shoes. Look for a spray in the kitchen that contains ethanol and other ingredients that kill bacteria.
Take the insole out of the shoe, moisten the insole, and let it dry for 24 hours.
Use powder
If you notice that your feet are sweating, you can try baby powder. It sounds funny, but even a little corn flour in shoes can cause excessive sweating.
If none of the above tips help you fight unpleasant odors, consult your doctor for his recommendation of medications and ointments.
I hope you have learned something more and that it will help you too.
