I had a problem with poor posture, I wondered what the problem was, why and how?

A friend took me to a doctor for posture in my case, weakness, there the doctor helped me and I learned something more, so I decided to share with you these 10 less visible consequences of poor posture, so let's start reading carefully. what you didn't know.

We have been taught since we were little how important posture is, but not only in terms of appearance. The way we carry our body affects many aspects of our health such as organ function or mental health.

For example, a bent posture while sitting leads to the body getting used to the incorrect biomechanics of performing daily activities such as walking, tying shoelaces or lifting objects off the ground.

So, if you are not willing to deal with correcting your posture just to look taller, it will be enough to read the others, less expectation of the consequences of bad posture:

1. Headache

Poor alignment of the spine is the main cause of neck and back pain. The bent position of the head and neck during sitting generates a load on the muscles of the upper back region, making them spasmodic and painful, which leads to headaches.

2. Sleep problems

It is less obvious, however, poor posture can lead to lack of sleep. Shortened and tense muscles do not allow us to fully achieve the state of relaxation that is a prerequisite for healthy sleep.

3. Bad mood and lack of motivation

A study published in the journal Health Psychology found that people who sit in a bent position have more frequent bouts of bad mood, more fear and lack of self-confidence compared to respondents who took an upright position. The same respondents proved to be more shy in different social situations due to feelings of lack of value, showing less motivation to carry out business activities.

4. Pain in the foot

Mismatched muscle balance will also affect your feet. Poor posture leads to sore feet, especially if you are used to wearing uncomfortable shoes such as shoes with high platforms and heels.

5. Recovery after training

Due to improper body posture, certain muscles take on an additional amount of unforeseen load during the performance of physical exercises, which makes them too exhausted, and it takes time to recover.

6. Pain in the lumbar region of the back

Most people keep in mind the problems with the shoulder girdle and neck when it comes to impaired posture. However, it is true that if you have bent shoulders, over time there is a smoothing of the natural curve in the lower back, which inevitably leads to pain in the mentioned region.

7. Nerve compression

Nerves coming out of the spine in the region of the neck and upper back innervate the arms, joints and hands. Due to the chronically tense muscles of these two regions, their compression can occur, which is manifested through tingling, numbness and pain along the arm.

8. Fatigue

If you have a disturbed posture, the body will activate compensatory mechanisms to maintain an upright position. The result is fatigue and exhaustion. The farther you are from the center of balance, the more energy the body requires to stay upright, making you weak.

9. Constipation

Poor posture also affects the movement of the digestive organs and intestines, affecting the general functioning of the body. Constipation is only one of the consequences, and it is caused by poor intestinal peristalsis due to taking an unnatural position during long sitting.

10. High blood pressure

A study conducted by one of the leading universities in Great Britain ("University of Leeds") showed that breathing in the position of bent shoulders disrupts the smooth functioning of the lungs. Surprisingly, this results in high blood pressure.

I hope this helped you by sharing with you, good luck everyone.
