"Sea of ​​blood" : a millennials and suspense movie

Hello friends, today I come to talk to you about sea of ​​blood, a movie that is on Netflix is ​​from the year 2022 for people over 18 and lasts approximately an hour and a half.

The synopsis says that it is about a jet ski accident that leaves these teens battered bleeding and adrift, and they need to stay afloat to avoid a predator attack.

It's a suspense movie, with teenagers and although it's not my genre, I'm here to do a little review of it.

At first we see a group of crazy teenagers doing what teenagers do: having fun, partying, drinking alcohol, dancing and lust on a beach, and here we see how the boys are having fun on jet skis, typical of any Teen.

What really seems curious to me, like all these kinds of movies, is that the jet skis are stolen, under the guise that they "borrow it" and of course they enter a locker, a booth that is in the middle of the beach and like It's this kind of movies, no one notices that they steal the key and break a public property. Right off the bat! Of course this is something that only happens in this type of film.

It is accompanied by good current music, ideal to represent these images that are seen of some boys having fun on the beach and doing pirouettes with jet skis, having a good time and of course drunk.

The action begins, let's say just when the accident occurs, and here we see the image of it.

This is, let's say, the premise that the film hooks into, in its first few minutes, which I think is acceptable, it's common, it's quite generic, but for making this type of material it's fine. It does and fulfills its function, which is to entertain the audience.

The idea that this whole adventure revolves around this jet ski accident is interesting, and shows how with really few resources, with few actors and with a subject as simple as an accident at sea, you can generate a story that can be an interesting hook and it turns out to be entertaining.

I admit it, although I am not a fan of this type of film, this style is interesting and it is a film that serves to pass the time, it fulfills its function, which is to entertain.

What I really like about this movie and it's a positive factor in my opinion is that they show these millennials doing what they do best: "being stupid and being dumb", and how they get into trouble for just wanting to enjoy themselves, have a good time and have such an incoherent mentality, of being idiots, and how this leads them to this type of situation, which is very well reflected and shown in this type of film.

Actually it is a movie that I recommend to pass the time only.

The main characters are three men and two women: the blonde woman or the blonde actress plays her role of dumb blonde very well and the other actress plays the role of a conservative spoiled babe, the girl who is always worried about doing things correctly.

The rest is a dark-haired guy who plays the average teenager and the other two are more like the teenagers who tend to party and make jokes all the time, the kind that are only looking forward to having sex and drinking alcohol.

In general, so as not to get into spoilers, this is what this movie is about. The initial promise is effectively fulfilled in the first minutes of the film and the plot progressively shows plot arcs,
being the matter of infidelity one of the first to appear.

This maintains a rhythm that tends to be nice in the movie and I would like to tell you much more, but I can't, because that would be spoiling it.
