This is the story of Jaime, a hobbit who lived in an abandoned cave in a far away place, a swamp that had been forgotten and rather exiled from the lands where most people made their lives. Jaime was someone who was very overweight and since his childhood had been set apart from the pack of all the other hobbits. This was because he was unable to perform the activities that all children his age normally did. For example, when it was his turn to have physical education class, all the other normal-weight kids managed to jump from branch to branch, he had a hard time climbing the tree, and the other kids pointed at him and made fun of him, making this arouse a feeling of frustration in our protagonist. He felt bad and felt a lot of anger and hatred towards the other boys, especially because he wasn't accepted within the group, he didn't have that sense of belonging. And so it was that Jaime was isolating himself and living in his own world, not wanting to deal with society. It was only in food that he found his greatest pleasure, enjoying something that he couldn't make fun of and that he liked and that was his passion.

Over the years, it became increasingly difficult for him to find jobs that he could do because the tasks available usually involved large amounts of physical effort, such as cultivating the land, harvesting crops of various foods, or delivering messages via long distance. And our friend couldn't perform those tasks without getting tired. Every three or four steps he took, he was exhausted from breathing, he felt tired and began to sweat profusely.

So, through the years, he realized that since he was an orphan, without fathers or mothers and didn't really have friends, he decided to go and live far away, away from the whole population. Love hadn't knocked on his door either, he hadn't found those kindred souls to help him ease the weight of this burden. He envied non-obese people because they led a life where they could afford to run, climb trees, have friends, walk, and deliver large items, without getting tired, without having all the many problems that he had. He had access to many jobs that he needed to make a living. But Jaime had to go to live far away and had to set up a craft stall with great effort, dedicating himself to selling objects that other merchants later bought from him and sold them to people as haunted objects. Jaime had nothing to do with this, he was only fulfilling his task of creating the craft and the myths and legends that the unscrupulous merchant later sold to the people were something else that had nothing to do directly with him.

And so, Jaime continued his day to day living, but without really a purpose that would feed him and help him move on. What will happen to Jaime in a few years? It is something that is unpredictable and that each of us would like to know, but only our writer will be able to say what Jaime's fate is if he decides to continue this story some other time.

This has been my participation for today's story, I hope you have enjoyed it and I know that Jaime reflects the reality of many people who are alone and abandoned in his house and in a certain way I feel identified with him. I know many of you will be too so thanks for reading today's story and have a nice day.
