15-min rush: Ondoy experience

Struggles anyone? I do have a lot, specially when doing things that I am not great at. I have a lot of things to share but the thing is, I don't know how. Read their articles too! `Time started: 9:20 am` `Time ended: ??? 11:29 am` *** I was quite busy having family time last week since my husband was home. And while little is sleeping let's do this! It was Ondoy's anniversary last month around the same month after the Ondoy happened, we were trying to reach out to our friend that was badly affected. By the way, we were also affected but not as bad as they were. My sisters wrote an article last week about it. @melsiebelsie and I were together at home that time so I don't want to narrate the same thing. I will experience what me and my friends saw how devastating the typhoon to one of my friends.

The low areas in Marikina that was badly affected by Ondoy, areas that are near the river mostly. `OMG the little woke up! still have 8mins left. Stopped at 9.27am will continue later` `11.22 am and 7.5mins left`

Ondoy left a really devastated city. Humupa na ang baha pero nagtira ng super lalim na putik. Maswerte pa din kami kahit papaano. Pero after nun, walang mga tindahan, grocery, convenient store na bukas buti na lang may mga pagkain pa din kami.

Nakakakilos at nakapaglinis naman na kami sa bahay. After magkakuryente and all, we contacted one of our bestfriends na nasa Tumana. Luckily, she found a way na makareply kahit papano and asked us for clothes or anything that they can use. Clothes, mahihigaan and kung may food na din. Syempre di kami nagalangan. We immediately sorted out everything that we can give to help them. BTW, they live in a 2-storey house but the house sunk when the flood happened. Nasa rooftop na sila sa gitna ng gabi, nilalamig at nagugutom. Kawawa ang mga bata. We went there personally and we saw how damaged their baranggay was. Mabaho, makalat, maputik and the same thing happened to Ulysses. She compared Ondoy and Ulysses and described it as the same damage but Ondoy was unexpected. Yung pagtaas lang ng baha ang magkaiba, mas mabilis tumaas ang baha nung Ondoy kesa kay Ulysses.
