What does success really mean?

When a student passes the HSC examination with a GPA of 5 then he/she is successful.

And when that student gets admission in the famous university of his country, he is still successful.

Suppose again, that girl is successful even after completing her studies and getting a job of her choice.

Success is something that we seek in every step of life.

Success is a long term process

Getting family permission to go on a picnic with friends is a success for a school going child.

Again after completing your studies, going through one job interview after another and joining the job without getting the salary as per your expectations is also a success.

A young entrepreneur finds his success by launching a new business.

Many people think that success is a personal matter.

Success is to whoever defines success.

It is difficult for anyone to give a precise definition of success.

When a man comes of age, his society gives him a certificate whether he has succeeded or failed in his life, even if he himself does not realize it.

That certificate mentions whether he succeeds or fails!

On what basis does society determine the standard of success?

Let's explore some solutions to this tricky question.

Our society basically defines success based on 5 criteria.

These 5 criteria of success are - wealth, social status, knowledge, peace of mind and love of people.

Our society defines a person as successful when these 5 things are present in him.

If none of these 5 criteria is present then the society does not want to give him a certificate of success.

The first of these 5 criteria is wealth.

A person who does not have wealth can never be successful in the eyes of society.

Society does not care whether that person is educated or uneducated.

Wealth is the number one measure of success in our society.

Now come to the social situation!

Social status means that you will have some good wishes, people will recognize you, you will be considered one of the 100 of the society.

You will have influence in the society, they will ask you for wise advice before doing anything.

Now come to the third standard knowledge!

This knowledge is one of the prerequisites for success in the eyes of society.

To be successful you must be wise.

This does not mean that you have to be highly educated, it just means that you know the difference between good and bad, you are discerning and you are slow.

Now let's come to the fourth standard of peace of mind.

Our society always makes an assumption about whether you are mentally at peace or not.

Even if you pass the remaining four criteria of success, you will still not get a certificate of success because you are not at peace in the eyes of the society.

Now let's come to the fifth standard of human love.

In the eyes of society you can be rich, wise but if people don't see you, don't like you then you can't be successful.

Not all the people in the society will love you but the majority is given importance here. Therefore, one of the criteria of success in the eyes of society is the love of people.

Talk about success

success A short word. But it means we search till the last breath. A month ago I asked a friend and colleague - what is the definition of success? His straightforward answer - Even a year ago at this time, it seemed that to be successful, a lot of money, houses and cars are needed. That doesn't seem like it anymore. Now I just think that being good with the people around you is success!

Also spoke to a PhD researcher living in Virginia, USA. He was saying, 'Success has no specific criteria. There is no guarantee that the work or achievement that you once consider yourself successful will not be deemed worthless later on. Success to me is a collection of small goals. Where you connect one point to another. There will be obstacles in your way to reach these goals. Thus you have to move forward with both success and failure. Indeed neither success nor failure is permanent!'

Considering famous or rich people, we give different interpretations of success to different people. Thus the definition of success is determined by people. But what is it really? The definition of success is different for people in different professions. Where a businessman finds success in capturing the market, a doctor finds it in treating his patients well. Every person is different, their perspective is also different. So it's better to have different criteria for their success. Famous social psychologist Erin Baker said in this context - 'Success is something that every person can define and design for themselves.'

Another mistake we easily make when looking for success. It is considering the success of others as a measure of one's own success. Most of the time I leave out of consideration how much effort I have put into it. For example, a student who worked hard and passed with a golden A-plus. Another got a GPA-4 with occasional book encounters. If he suffers from failure in this, it is absolutely foolish.

Because what you do is what you get! So comparing yourself with others often leads to depression. Moreover, comparing yourself with others is a kind of failure. In this context, the quote of Bill Gates has to be pulled - 'Don't compare yourself with anyone in this world. If you do so, you are insulting yourself.'

But the meaning of success varies by age. Many people think that success is getting education at one age, career at another age and happiness at the last age. These facts have emerged in various surveys. While about 70 to 80 percent of teenagers see success in getting into an educational institution of their choice, about 70 percent of people in their thirties or thirties find success in having a good job or business. Forty people find success again on their bank balance! And those who have given leave to work or see the success of people over sixty in the midst of all their happiness and joy. Thus, people's views change over time - the definition of success changes.

Australia's Torrance University has been researching success for quite some time. This university has separate 'Success Coach' for the students of Health, Hospitality, Design, Business Studies etc. They also pointed to improving oneself daily, taking on new challenges, and understanding the meaning of one's life well as success.

Your success is defined only by your work. Your happiness is your success. You're not giving up, you're doing your best, you're doing your best, you're good with everyone - what could be better than that?

I will end with a word from the Holy Bible. In the Bible, 'Success is not a matter of achievement, but faith in the Lord is success

Success is not given to anyone

Who does not want success! The desire for success is one of the universal human aspirations. That's why life stories of successful people attract everyone. Those stories full of extreme thrills and dramas attract people like a magnet. Zero-to-millionaire success stories attract billions of people like fairy tales.

However, even though they are interested in reading the success story, many people avoid the hard work behind it, hard work, hard patience and well-planned. Many desensitized people cannot remember or even follow the words of Rajni and the long days of hard work, planning and hard work behind success.

However, no success, big or small, comes naturally to you. From the world's famous most successful people to the everyday successful people around us, the multi-dimensional picture of their struggle is revealed. That is why it is said that real success cannot be achieved through cheating, shortcuts or dishonesty. But it is not permanent and sustainable. Success achieved through hard work, dedication and honesty is the real success and that is permanent in life.

Therefore, don't judge someone's life lightly by thinking that 'someone has done everything in their life' by seeing their success! From the outside, you only see his smiling face, but you have not seen the sleepless nights behind his success, hours of inhuman toil, sleepless afternoons, sacrifices and hard work, and he has not shown them to you! In fact, he did not consider you as his own and reliable as shown, nor could you see them with the eyes of a deeply emotional mind. Because, not everyone has the high mental capacity and sensitive feeling to see and feel the long and deep chapters of human struggle and achievement, success and pursuit.

In fact, when will those who spend their lives playing in the dark circles of criticism and scrutinizing become successful themselves? In fact, no one does anything in the world, you have to do it yourself. And that's why you have to do the necessary planning and hard work! So, without criticizing others, spend that time positively and well-planned in your work, keep working hard, keep planning with specific goals, you will see that success will surely come to you!

Perseverance will bring success

People dream and sleep and hope consciously. Dreams end when you wake up. But hope lives forever. It doesn't matter where you are right now, it's where you want to go; That is important. The setbacks will come countless times. Therefore, it cannot be broken. More important than learning to win is the mindset of accepting defeat. This is where we lose again and again!

No matter what hope or dream you say, you have to believe in it. Because faith is a strange and powerful force. It is not a magic or miracle thing. As the Bible says, 'You must always go to the top of the hill alone.' When you climb to the top of a mountain peak, you are the only one who can stay there. Maybe that's why Tenzing and Hilary couldn't stay together at the highest peak. So you have to do your work. In this way you are as impossibly alone as a king. The king is lonely, because the throne is one. And two people cannot sit together on the same throne.

Finally please forgive my mistakes
