Facts : According to the professor of my board mate while I am listening to his online class last night Philippines produces 40 000 tons of waste and tremendously increasing year by year!

This is just my point of view.
After hearing this topic last night I am encourage to bring out to all my filipino fellows to manage their solid waste properly. Because at the end we are the one who will suffer. Imagine a 40000 TONs of waste daily! And If we don't take action into these problem, we will end up living with the garbage everywhere! And the problem here is that all these garbages are subject to contamination due to mixed garbage! Many Filipinos aren't really doing their part to sort their trash!
How can you help?
Manage your waste at home.
It always start at your home! Please make it a habit to separate your garbage, from plastic, biodegradable to non biodegradable. Whenever I see the garbage collector, I always hate it when everything aren't sorted out. Because the main thing is that, the trash they are getting isn't sorted out!
Please let me elaborate why we need to sort out our trash!
Plastic bottle, Glass bottle and Can!
Are recyclable items! They can be recycled and used again. And please if it possible refrain using plastics more often.
Papers
Papers whether they are magazines or newspapers please store them and did you know that you can also sold them! Make it a habit to keep them and sold them after. Separate them from your trash because same way with plastics they are also recyclable.
Biodegradable.
These items must be separated because they have the natural ability to decomposed samples are paper, plants leaves, animal poops and etc.
Always bring eco bag every time you go to the grocery stores!
Please remember that our land does'nt increase in area overtime, but our waste does! Our ecosystem is at risk so does our future. Please avoid the mentality that your neighbor or others does not separate their trash so you would do the same, instead point it out to them, educate them, why do we need to sort out our trash! If it is not for you, think about the future kids.
I would also include here these famous quotation "Its not because other is doing it, it is right. Same way Its not because no one is doing it is wrong"
Please bring this out to your neighbors, friends and family members!
