Have you ever felt like you have been so much unproductive for there are things you wanted to enjoy because it may not last for a longer time and you wanted to take advantage of the situation? Ever heard of enjoy it while it last? I agreed that we can enjoy these things that gives us satisfaction before the thrill and excitement is gone. It was like enjoying the hot coffee before it gets cold.

I wonder how amazing people can really enjoy things while being productive at the same time. Whilst on my side I can only focus with two or three things at a time. And I am still learning how to manage my time productively without distraction.

Recently the rise of NFT’s tokens specifically waifus and zombies has greatly affected my schedules and productivity. I am always online checking about the happenings every minute. If there were low prices waifus to buy and claiming faucets about these zombies and communicating with my new waifu lover friends. Have you tried increasing your bch holdings by buying and selling waifus? It is so fun and enjoyable! Especially the zombie spam images. You can try it by simply logging in to jungle and you can read many articles available here at read.

Moreover since these NFT’s, I didn’t get enough sleep. I spent my nights with this waifus and from 6 to 7hrs of sleep it became 4-5hrs. And the funny thing is, even on mornings I look up for the updates of the Waifu’s and some of my works are being compromised. Which I conclude that these waifus are so cute and adorable I really want them to bag on my jungle list! Haha. But the way I am having a hard time resisting these waifus I am losing accomplishments. I am losing my focus. And the only way I can resist them is to avoid them or reschedule them. Thank goodness they don’t visits me in my dreamland. Lolism.

Further, since I cannot really turn down the urge to visits waifus from time to time. I have this trick during my college days that I used so I could focus more on studying and avoiding distractions. That I am adopting now and I want to share,

1. Disabling Social media accounts.

Only way to get rid of temptations is to avoid them. During my review in preparation during midterms or finals I always disable and deactivate all my social media accounts that keeping me out to focus. Even uninstalling the app is also okay. But since, it is not that critical it was not like I am spending my time with waifu for leisure, I have this method of leaving groups and later in the afternoon I will come back to join them once again. I have been doing this for 2nd day and I think I become more productive and I have finished more of my activities. And I have an article to share! But if you aren’t like me who can really set aside things and more focus with your priorities you can ignore me and this. Hehe

2. Exercising the mind

If things didn’t turned out well by disabling your social media accounts and you were like you wanted to go and you look on your gadgets from time to time. Best is to remove your phone away from you . You can exercise your mind by simply saying or writing these words, “priorities, goals, vision, mission, tasks, finished, accomplishments, focus, life after years and many more”. This is an exaggeration though works fine with me, and sometimes in order for me to clear the temptation on the minds, I just simply move my eyes, up, down, left and right roll roll. See, mind is already clear you can focus more again on what you were doing. Did it work on you?

3. Pray for more focus

Guidance from above truly works. During my review for my board exam, we always make time to get assistance from God. Going to church at early in the morning before we go and resume to study, even after that. There is a lot of temptation that is present during my review days and whenever I pray and ask for His guidance I am becoming more focus and I slowly understand what is my goals and every problem I encountered makes more sense and I could get it easy and quick.

This is what I do mainly so I can get productive and to avoid spending too much time in one thing. I avoid socials and then after sometimes all the temptation will be gone and I could spend time to it in more appropriate time. If there is anything you could add and you want to improve or you have been suffering for this dilemma too and have a trick, I want to know and I will surely try it for sure! Thanks for reading! Herbert Simon won a Nobel Prize. He was a great thinker and wrote about the cognitive limits of the human being and stated that we can hardly handle eight activities with efficiency. So don't be upset if, when you want to cover many things, you feel that you lose focus. Welcome to the world of normal.

I think you do well to take a break to organize the activities. I feel right now that I am a bit unbalanced too, therefore, soon I will have to go into sleep mode. LOL

Nice techniques you've got to help with distractions, I'm still yet to put my hands around NFTs and what it entails, but maybe in time I know more
