Hi everyone!.

It is another blessed day to wake and appreciate Almighty God for his blessings and mercy over us. Many had the wish to witness the say but they weren't at an advantage. It's not by our power but by the mercy of the lord.

This article would be all about my weekend.

I have been home alone as always and having fun on my own. I would create happiness for myself at times. Most times I think about the hard work, and how much I strive to make a living just from my phone, I would nod my head and then say to myself "Oh boy! You are trying".

But most times self-appraisal isn't good for the body. Probably it leads to procrastination. Not from any doctor or specialist. I noticed that from my research and theories. πŸ˜†

There was a breakthrough to my loneliness at home. It was an honor to receive my first guest after weeks of staying indoors and home alone. He was my friend and also my roommate back then at my 300 level and penultimate year in the university campus.

Should I say fate brought us together since then?. Maybe I just say we are destined to meet each other. We became closer friends than everyone would think of. Most times he won't go out except he takes me along and I would also do the same. The love grew stronger. And the bond got closer.

But at some point in time. It's been said that 20 friends can't play together for 20 years. The same fate that had brought us together had to play its part in throwing us apart again. He got a job in the paint company which left him no choice but to part his ways. He never wished to leave but he had to. I wished him the best of luck.

We still contact each other on WhatsApp and make calls at times. It's been close to a year since we saw each other.

Last Saturday he called me and said he would be coming over to visit me and have the whole day with me. I was overwhelmed and happy towards his arrival. He got to my apartment in the morning, which was perfect timing to order something for breakfast. We greeted each other and had some chat, while having the chat I already ordered the food. And in no time it arrived.

After breakfast, he then introduced me to the deal their company had for the following week which was yesterday. He gave me an invitation card to attend the joint seminar program for painters in my state. I was pleased with the invitation and promised to be there.

Yesterday I got dressed and called one of my friends who were willing to tag along for the program too. We got there around 11 am. Not too early and not too late. Maybe I am good with timing 😜

The program kicked off and everyone paid full attention to every detail. Then the SilkCoat painters introduced themselves and gave a brief about their background check.

He told us SilkCoat paints is Turkey's leading paint brand with a wealth of products and services designed to beautify the home and bring a sense of color and warmth to our lives.

Silcoat Nigeria

They are said to have their brand across 70 countries over the world. And 24 states across Nigeria. That is quite impressive.

Then they started to show us samples of their products and also gave a sample painting for us to see the effect of their painting and the difference between their paints and the local paints we use.

I realized one thing about them. They are innovators and they made their brand special with quality and not quantity. They improved their brand's reputation with advancements in technology in addition to creativity. And I love them for that.

Let's explore a little of their paints.

I would give the name of each painting and probably some little description of it. Their paints were said to have more than 2500 colors. They also have their paint come in different forms. The interior & primers, the exterior & primers, and the decorative paints.

Interior & primers

The interior paint is best for interior walls and also depends on the amount of shine and durability. They have the Silkosil, Silkomatt, Natural, and Classplastic.

Exterior & primers

The home structures deserve exterior paints that can withstand all kinds of weather conditions. They have Silicone, Acrylic, Hydroclean, Subend, and Stone.

Decorative paints

They are a complete range of decorative solutions. High-quality water-based paints, able to offer multiple stylistic combinations. They have the arteco, cracos, decortivo, magico, palace, pearl and Metallico.

Some of the samples they made at the Seminar.

Palace

I love the look on this and the presence of some stones making the outlook rough and still perfect on touch. It can be applied with a slanted design of the application or a straight-line design.

Magico

This is one of the products I like. When it is applied, it can change color depending on the day of light. It brings a different color when exposed to the light and also another appearance in the absence of light. The more the light the more you feel the colour changes and reflection.

Marmarito crack.

What a design. Hehehe who would have called this a paint if not marble. But getting to see them applying this made my eyes believe it. If not, I might deny it's a painting. It was applied at three different layers. The first layer of Marmarito and the second application also, then the last finishing which brought out the cracky and golden look on it.

Marmarito

This is another special paint that brings a glassy outlook. When it's touched and seen it always brings a cool look and makes the home relaxing.

I love this. The difference is that it has no crack compared to the one above. Just a glassy outlook.

Metallico

Another amazing one from SilkCoat paints. It is called Metallico. Hahaha. From the word metal. When applied it would surely bring the look of metal paint.

Prestige wallpaper

They made this a different thing entirely. No one was expecting it from them. Compared to the normal wallpaper we apply on our walls instead of painting. SilkCoat paints came about with another great innovative solution to the wallpapers painting.

They made the paint in plastic bags and it only needs water for the application. After applying water then it should be left to soak for about 20mins before application. After applying it, It would get dried and not easy to peel out when dry. One thing I love about prestige paints is the fact that if you do not need them anymore. The only thing you have to do is to apply water on it again and leave it for some minutes then scrape it off the wall and your wall would remain the same.

Stone.

The last one which I could capture is the stone. And the one I love the most among them. Only if you could touch it and feel the presence would you believe the beauty in it. It was like applying tiny gravels on the walls and still looks so classy and elegant. I just love it. It's also one of the easiest to apply because it needs little or no finishing after application.

Hehehe πŸ˜‰. As you can see I am now a painter. Lol πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

So always have it in mind that you have a modern decorative painter here on the platform who is ready to render his service to anyone across Nigeria.

Yesterday was indeed a fun time with a lot to be learned.

Maybe some other day you might be opportune to hear about them in your area. You can surely give a trial to attend. They did well and were impressive.

Thanks for reading.

IT IS NOT GOODBYE BUT SEE YOU AGAIN πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹
