Who is not using face masks today? All of us do. Wherever we go we're wearing face masks. And because it's disposable, one use of it, then we throw it away. That's what face masks do in our everyday life. Does it worth the money? Maybe. Because we're getting safe from the virus. But think of this... Can we still get the advantage of the face masks after we use them from the virus?
Well, if you don't have any idea regarding this question, let me help you with one thing. You can still reuse face masks after using them. That's what others called recycling right? Well, how? And what can you make with face masks?
I and my husband tried to plant with any seeds we encounter. We love doing it as it's so practical right now. Planting seeds can help you harvest fruits and vegetables in the future.
So, in our backyard... It's not that big. We're struggling with space, where to plant, and where to put the seeds after they sprout.
It's a good thing, my hubby loves watching videos on YouTube. And one thing he discovers is that you can use face masks as a pot. Yes, like a pot that you can put soil, seeds, and plants.
So how? Facemasks are just a simple rectangular layer that has no hole. Well, what's the use of scissors? 😅
You can try my three suggestions and choose which one is much better for you.
Ready?
📍 First, try to cut the first edge of the facemasks. Just be careful using scissors. Then separate the layer. Like this. 👇🏽
You now have a hole. Then put some soil on it and then start planting.
📍 Second, you can try stitching two facemasks. This one needs needles and thread. And just like the scissors, be careful in using the needles. It can hurt you just like your ex. After stitching, you can hide the stitch. Just like this. 👇🏽
Then put soil on it and start planting.
📍 The third one is using a stapler. Just like the stitching method, you need two face masks to create a pot. As usual, be careful about using it. And the result is like this. 👇🏽
See? It's just so simple to create. You just need to be creative to save space and money in your garden. And who knows? Those face masks can be the reason to have a beautiful garden with a lot of fruits and veggies.
So what are you waiting for? Don't easily throw your face masks. Use it twice. 😊 But, make sure to clean it before holding it as it encountered a lot of unwanted bacteria and viruses.
Hope you learn from my article. 😊
I am also limiting the use of disposable masks. I instead use washable once that are sturdy. 😊
