Hide and Run; White Van cause fear to everyone

Good evening dreamers!! How are you today? Despite on the challenges and unexpected problems, I hope that you overcome it with a fulfilling outcome. Don't stress too much yourself on the things and workloads. You are still a human that really need a break. So make sure you will get an enough sleep later. Tomorrow is another battle for us so we must gain our energy again.

White van? I know that most of us here already heard or watch on the news or other social media accounts about the kidnapping and the suddenly disappearance of many people especially girls. At first I didn't believe on it but after seeing a video about how they kidnapped a certain person, I was totally shocked and get nervous. And lately my timeline is full with missing person or a news about how someone is being kidnapped. I already heard about the issues of the white van and kidnapping since when I am a kid but now, it became rampant again. For sure, most of us feel like it is not safe anymore to go outside especially when we are alone. It seems that there is a threat cause by the white van. Just earlier, I saw a post of a boy and he told everything on how he almost kidnapped by a white van. He have many bruises and wounds. Even his clothes was ripped because he fight against the people who wants to kidnapped him. It is not only girls but even boys can be a victim of it. That's why I can't blame people why they tend to be scared and nervous everytime they saw a white van. Some of them immediately hide or run. Some immediately go to the place where in there is so many people. We can't blame them because of what's happening now. But I saw the statement of the PNP about this and according to the headlines;

The Philippine National Police (PNP) dismissed circulating information that a serial killer or a criminal group onboard a white van was behind the recent incidents of abductions and killings in the country.

Seeing that kind of post makes my family feels so worried especially for my older sister. Her out from the work is around 10PM and she travel for one hour. It is already late and all of us feel so uneasy everytime she didn't came home at 11PM. Sometimes, I texted her where she is because my grandma is worrying about her. They also said that we should limit going outside since it is not safe anymore. Because of that, we decided to track every members location using our phone. We used Google maps to locate the exact place where they are. I also try the SOS emergency where in you can add an emergency contact and it can send a SOS message and your exact location to your emergency contact. But I guess you need a load when you used this one. Because most of us are girls in the house, my uncle give us a pepper spray and flashlight with electric shock. I think we must have it especially girls.

Now that this issue became a trend or a threat to us, we should be always observant on our surroundings. As much as possible, we should keep ourselves with someone else, don't walk and go out alone. If you feel like that someone is following you, immediately go to the crowd places. And it is also be a good idea if we can learn some basic self defense so that we can protect yourself somehow. Since it is very rampant now, I hope that the authority would take an action about it so that we can live without being threatened by this issue. And to those who is still missing , I hope that they will be found alive. I pray for everyone safety now. It is always better to be safe than sorry so we must need to be vigilant and observant always.
