Some things you should expect from my BCH farm
Hello community, thanks for coming around again for some updates as it’s happening with max’s BCH multipurpose farm. In today’s article, I’ll like to discuss with you on few things that makes my BCH powered farm a unique one.
But before we move, you may like to know about my flipstarter campaign. As at writing, the campaign has gotten up to 20 pledgers who has brought the campaign to 60%+ pledged. 154.14 of 248 BCH has been achieved and 93.86 Bitcoin Cash is still needed to pass the campaign. 2 days is left before the campaign expires. Do you think this campaign will pass? I’m very much optimistic that we can together make it happen!

let me quickly show you what has been going on in BCH multipurpose farm. I’ve been working tirelessly with my team members fixing some underground work as we wait for the campaign to pass.
Manure fully purchased and mixed
We’ve purchased the approximate quantity as estimated by the merchant that oversees the plantation of seedlings as coconut, pawpaw and groundnut.

I hired laborers for this, and they did a marvelous job. I tried to pay them in Bitcoin Cash but many of them were coming from far north of Nigeria; with no knowledge of how Bitcoin Cash works; this is an evidence that more work has to be done as it concerns orientation and information about Bitcoin Cash. Some of them doesn’t have smartphones to start with. So I ended up paying majority of them with fiat papers.
It took us 3 weeks to get these holes ready for plantation. You can follow my YouTube video below for your satisfaction.
As at yesterday; that’s the 9th of March 2022, we applied manure on the surface; in between holes. This manure application is targeted at the groundnuts. The next thing now should be the application of weed control chemicals.
Bricks are being molded for structures
We’ve started molding blocks so that we won’t have any delays in securing, and fencing other parts of the farm that are yet to be secured from cows and burglars. We’re expecting to start work in full force as soon as the campaign is funded.
Irrigation pipes are being laid
This is dry season, but with BCH powered irrigation system available, we can comfortably support these new seedlings that’ll soon be here. So I’ve tried to get water line ready ahead of time. Looking at the picture ahead is BCH water tanker at the extreme. BCH tanker is warming up for the full startup of the farm.
We’re currently watering the farm to get it wet enough to welcome our new friends lol . The watering will last for a week before the application of weed control chemicals. I’ve also bought some pesticides and termite control chemicals that can help in controlling termites from attacking the seedlings.
There are areas that nothing has been done until we’re able to raise enough funds from the flipstarter campaign; places like animals houses, stores, staff changing rooms, toilets etc etc. For BCH hub, we’ll start it immediately the Flipstarter campaign gets funded.
Paying for the land extension and fencing the other open areas of the farm will all follow after the BCH farm is funded. It’s very important that the seedlings are fenced as a protective measures against strayed cows and other Herbivores.
Let me quickly tell you about few things that you’ll also expect to see from this farm,
This is the front side of BCH multipurpose farm and we plan to beautify here with flowers. Close to BCH tank is where our overhead tank will be built which will supply water to the whole departments.
The front end of BCH multipurpose farm will
be decorated with natural flowers and Bermuda grasses, it’ll have a 3D led sign that will bear this inscription “Powered by Bitcoin Cash”. This will be a symbol and an honor to Bitcoin Cash as long as the farm exist.
The seedlings will be tagged with names of people that have supported BCH multipurpose farm in one way or another. Expect to see your name tagged! The beautiful thing about tree tagging is that you’ll have the privilege to see and ask how your seedlings is fairing. When the seedlings gets older and ready to be replaced, you’ll be notified, and new seedling will be planted for you or either way, your tag may be transferred to another vacant tree if you wish so. To me, this is a beautiful way to keep your mind on a farm that you cherished so much and have supported.
