Making Extra Money Using the Internet

Many among us use the internet for leisure; uploading our selfies on Facebook and Instagram, binge-watching on Netflix on our laptops or our phones, watching our favorite vlogger on YouTube, etc. We spend a couple of hours or more doing these things because it’s fun, but what if we reallocate this time to do some easy jobs and earn some extra money using the Internet.

There are a plethora of sites that offer jobs and tasks to earn money, but most of them are non-legit and will only waste your time. In this article, I will try my best to list down the best sites that offer the best jobs to earn extra money. Some of the jobs sometimes look for some specific skillset in an applicant, and if you think you have it, maybe it is now your chance to earn some extra money.

·        Be a Transcriber

If you have good listening skills and can type while doing so? Why not become a transcriber. There are many sites that offer this kind of job that offers a competitive amount for a time on the internet. Here are some of the most trusted transcribing websites that you can check out:

  GoTranscript – This site has been there for quite a time now, and that was only made possible by their reliability and effectiveness for customers and transcribers alike. They offer $ 0.60 per video minute and if you can transcribe more with your free time, just count how much you will earn on this website.

  Rev – Another transcribing website, but with more competitive pay for your hard work. Rev offers $ 1.25 per minute in converting audio or video to text and making a caption for videos, and if you know and is fluent in different languages, you can earn as much as $ 3 – 7 per video minute translating it in the target language. If you think you have what they are asking for, then try to apply now on their website and start earning.

  Scribie – This one offers a bit less than the previous two but I added this for their legitimacy in terms of paying their workers. They pay around $ 5 – 25 per audio hour therefore you have to spend more time listening and typing to reach such feat. However, they at least offer 60% raw transcription, thus lessens your burden in typing raw text but gives you time to just focus on editing.

There are still plenty of trusted and paying transcribing websites that you can visit such as TranscribeMe, CastingWords, SpeechPad, etc., but the above three are available even for international transcribers. So if you think your ear is as sharp as a knife and has a good typing speed, apply now and start earning with those ears and fingers.

 There are still hundreds if not thousands of opportunities on the internet other than being a transcriber, but I will write that down on our next article next week about the same topic.
