At first I was confused about what to write an article about, but after I left the house and saw a garden that looked neat and fresh, I thought: maybe this is the topic I will write about in my article this time. Benefits of building a city park:

• Urban greenery which is generally arid without plants is very beneficial for many people to feel cool and not hot.

• For recreation for city dwellers, it is necessary to go to mountains or villages filled with plants, and this is a very basic advantage, with the existence of artificial gardens, residents are no longer looking for green places for themselves and their minds.

• Absorbs carbon dioxide gas (CO2) which is mostly produced by motor vehicles, cars, factories, burning waste. In the process of photosynthesis as follows: CO2 + H2O, so the more gardens you create, the lower the pollution level.

• Trees in city parks, can store a lot of air, plants consist of 80% air and 20% by weight of other materials such as deciduous wood, cambium. So if one plant weighs 1000 kg (1 ton) then the water it contains = 80/100 x 1000 kg = 800 kg of water whose volume = 800 liters. if in a city park there are only 100 trees then the water that can be accommodated in a city park is = 800 liters x 100 trees = 80,000 liters if loaded on a tanker truck with a volume of 5000 L will be available = 80,000/5000 = 16 water tanks. The edge of city parks can help prevent flooding, because the air will not be discharged directly into rivers/sewers but is absorbed by plants in city parks. and this is the benefit of the many plants that we plant, the more plants that are planted, the more absorption of plants will be produced.

• In the above photosynthesis process, oxygen gas is also produced which is needed for human and animal respiration. So that the air in the city is expected to be fresh with lots of oxygen (O2) produced by city parks and this is very beneficial for us, with so much oxygen in the city, the possibility of respiratory disease is also small.

• Can be used as a medium for learning school children about various kinds of plants, plant species and plant properties. By studying in the garden, children are expected to have a wider imagination than learning in class.

• For lying animals (animals, such as birds, bats, and other animals that work as predators in this life), and many others, so that lying animals such as bats will no longer enter people's homes who can make our homes dirty.
