Marky Stories: Coconut Tree's Fairy
It was not just a few children who talked about the fairy often seen on the coconut tree at the gate of a house not far from the Tullahan river so the owner of the house believed it would be true. Based on the story, they see a child in a coconut tree who suddenly disappears when they turn their eyes in another direction so they scare the place, more at night.
"Certainly, the fairy I saw when I was a child is what they saw in that place", said an elderly woman who lives in a house with a coconut tree planted at the gate.
"Definitely", replied Aling Inez, the owner of the house. "And I believe because so many kids told me about this phenomenon!"
According to Aling Inez, there were times when a child told her that the child she saw on the coconut tree pushed her when she tried to talk but she did not get up. There is also a story that the boy waved to the coconut tree to approach but suddenly lost the approach so he believes he saw a fairy.
But this is not the only story that Aling Inez heard because even in the lower part of their house they were divided into a rental room, there was a story with a fairy. According to Lesley, one of the girls who lived in the room, sometimes, she was very surprised because she had not yet entered the room, she heard a giggle that she must have created by the children playing.
"I did not see any children in the room", Lesley told Aling Inez.
"Maybe you are tired and awake because you worked overtime", Aling Inez replied that the story is not contradicted if you just do not want to know other details.
"No," Lesley replied. "I could really hear the giggles of the children playing in our room because I was in front of the door and it was opening!"
"And this is not the only mysterious event I experienced in the room", Lesley continued. "When I sleep, there are children playing on the bed so I wake up, but I see nothing!"
There was an explanation for the phenomenon that took place in the house when Aling Inez told the mysterious incident to an elderly woman who lived in their house, Nana Dela. Apart from the fact that Nana Dela knows how to massage, she also knows how to cut so she knows a lot about only lands that are also called fairies.
"Certainly, the fairy living in the covered stream shows the coconut tree at the gate and playing inside Lesley's room", explained Nana Dela. "Because just like any other land, the fairy returns to the place where they used to live and live!"
Aling Inez agreed with Nana Dela's explanation because the others who lived in their house with knowledge of earth only said the same thing. And another reason, the areas in their yard and the house where the fairy shows up are actually creeks, just by moving the flow of water to the canal made behind their house.
I have a belief that every writer eventually finds their voice as a writer. We start out in this beautiful moment where everything is possible. As newbies, we’re in it for the stories — not for the complexities of the market. Every good story starts with a spark of inspiration, an idea. What matters to the new writer is not who is going to read that thing, but instead crafting that idea into something people will want to read. Marky stories are not only for children, but adult may want to read this also as if the stories have love, fiction, epic and many more, I'm not only focusing in one theme, because every day, readers want something new, something that is not published before.
