The Prison with Innocent Prisoners

Have you ever seen a prison or cell where all living prisoners are considered innocent and did not make any violent reactions toward other living thing?

Criminals are forced to be taken behind bars because of somethinf evil that they did. Some were forced to do evil but some really did evil.

I have seen prisoners with violent actions but deep down, their intentions are good. There are some girls who are living their life behind bars because of killing the men who raped them, even fathers who have lost their girls because of those stupid men. In other countries, people suffer to buy at least canned goods as their meal for a day. They are forced to be thieves so they can get food on the table. I found them a hero actually, rather than a villain. Since the government and the people themselves are unfair in life when it comes to money and wealth, we do things we thought we are never going to do.

A prison is supposed to be a sort of rehabilitation center. Criminals who are given a second chance to live their lives properly are supposed to live the way they have to rather than being locked up. I have seen prisons who have more than five prisoners in one cell. You put them in misery position, they are going to act like animals.

But what is the only prison in the world where all prisoners are innocent?

Actually, you already know the answer. It is so simple yet you do not notice it.

The ZOO.

Animals in there were taken from the jungle, forest, ocean and air by force to be locked up in the zoo as an amusement park for the people. Yes, they give us smiles. They give us the knowledge about what the animal kingdom is. They give us the sight that we never will see if we continue to live in the city and not explore the wildlife. Zookeepers and staff give them everything they need from food to medicine to shelter. Yes, we keep them away from people who will kill them outside.

Discipline is the key. You can't teach people the right and wrong other than themselves.

But have you ever wonder if these animals are happy in their place?

Although, we give them the things they need, they still lack one thing. And that is freedom.

Freedom to explore the life they have to like us, humans explore the world anytime we want. They are locked up in cages and homes but they can't even wonder around.

Actually, there's another prison where these animals are innocent.

The CIRCUS.

When animals try to get out of that cell, people think that they are about to kill people in the streets. They don't. They just want to be free.

I saw a picture once about a certain elephant that tried to escapr after performing in a circus for almost ten years. He was brutally shot several times. The eyes of him were saying a lot that he just want to be free. It was so devastating to see. Like why in the world would you do to that?

This is why I have never been to a zoo, neither have watched a circus act. Because of my belief that if we want to share the knowledge of how animals eat, drink, live or die, just do a reasearch but not lock them for the rest of their lives.
