How to improve concentration in learning

Successful learning and memory largely depend on concentration. Therefore, if you have memory problems while learning, even though you understood everything you read, it is most likely that your concentration has dropped.

Here are few tips to help you improve your concentration and successfully memorize what you are reading.

Eliminate external interference

External disturbances are common "distractions" that affect concentration while reading or learning. These are usually noise from the street or other rooms in the apartment, scenes we see through the window, suffocation, inappropriate temperature in the room we are in, loud music from neighboring apartments, uncomfortable clothes, etc. To successfully deal with external interference, place yourself where you cannot see what is happening outside. If possible, study in the quietest room in the apartment, be in comfortable clothes and often ventilate the room you are in. Fresh air will surely clear your mind and you will find it easier to accept new information.

Eliminate internal interference

As you read or study, focus only on what you are doing and do not "search" for things that have happened to you, problems that are bothering you, or a situation that worries you. Any kind of emotional conflict will interfere with your concentration, and thus your ability to remember information. You try to resolve emotional conflicts at other times than during learning. Let focused learning be your refuge, because if you concentrate fully on what you are learning or reading, you will forget about "all the trouble." When you have finished learning, only then think about what is bothering you and focus on finding solutions.

Visualize

The power of visualization, which we all possess, will be very useful to you as you read or learn. Think about what you are learning and try to connect that topic with other areas that interest you, with your daily activities, etc. Imagine for a second you were transposed into the karmic driven world of Earl. Think about how you will feel when you achieve the desired goal. Immerse yourself in learning, get closer to it and repeat positive affirmations to yourself: This topic is becoming more and more interesting to me, I am glad that I am learning something new.

Find the will with the help of imagination

Lack of will usually has a negative effect on concentration, but also lack of imagination. Combine willpower and imagination to learn and learn successfully. When you intend to get down to business, imagine that you are already doing it and that you are doing it with ease. Learn for a shorter period of time but often

Learning that lasts for hours without breaks is not only boring but unnecessarily tiring for the brain, it leads to stress and concentration disorders, and none of that will certainly help you learn the material in front of you faster and better.

A day without learning - for everything else

Apart from the fact that learning is more efficient if it is spread over several shorter periods of time with breaks in between in order for the brain to rest until the next rush of concentration, it is also important to take a break longer than one day. A day without learning, even during the exam period, can be very useful because it will help you get rid of stress completely, but only if you spend that day without feeling guilty that you are not learning. Thinking about other things, about what relaxes you as well as carefree enjoyment of the day is a way to spend the day taking a break from learning. Otherwise you just lost a day of learning.

Same-day knowledge review

In order to remember what you learn during one day for a longer period of time, you should repeat it on the same day. When you confirm a certain knowledge to yourself, you will feel better and you will have a greater motivation to continue. Leaving the repetition of the learned material for any of the following days is not good because then you will be able to memorize only a small part of what you learned in the previous days, because at that moment you only remember one part. So - learn and repeat that knowledge later in the day, because it will be better and safer.

ja mojim djacima savetujem sledece, pre ucenja obavezno da se odradi mali paket vezbi za telesno razgibavanje, da se pojede jedna do dve kockice cokolade i popije casa vode, ma koliko to smesno mozda zvuci daje izuzetne rezultate

S obzirom da dugo radim u skoli vidim kako koncentracija ucenika pada sve vise i vise kako dolaze mladje generacije. Mislim da je tome dosta pridoneo i njihov nacin zivota jer su okruzeni mnostvom raznih uredjaja koji nude mnostvo ( tacnih ili netacnih informacija) tako da on svoju paznju ne zadrzavaju dugo ni na cemu.

Slazem se, i veliki broj uredjaja, tehnologija napreduje, ali verujem da veliki pad koncentracije kod ucenika proizilazi i iz toga sto su prosvetarima izmenje njihove prave uloge u obrazovanju. Od davanja boljih ocena na sednicama kako bi ucenici imali veci prosek, do toga da gotovo nemamo ucenika koji ce ponavljati razred ilI polagati u avgustu. Ucenici to znaju i zato su se u velikoj meri opustili.

To je vec poseban problem. A nase razne regulative nam kazu da je ukoliko ucenik nesto ne nauci nasa krivica jer ga nismo dovoljno zainteresovali i motivisali.

Nemam problema sa koncetracijom ali moj sin ima.Muku mučim sa tim.Odličan članak sigurno će mi biti koristanČak sam pronašla i ovo.Vežbe koje će vam pomoći da vaša koncentracija bude bolja: – Uzmite knjigu i brojite reči u jednom pasusu. Kada prvi put izbrojite, ponovite postupak kako biste bili sigurni da ste dobro izbrojali. Brojite reči tako što ćete pogledom prelaziti preko njih a ne prstom. U početku brojite reči u jednom pasusu ali svakog dana povećavajte broj pasusa.

– Govorite u sebi azbuku ili brojite od 1 do 100. Mentalno zamišljajte svako slovo/broj pri izgovoru.

– Brojite unazad u sebi. Krenite od 100 i preskačite svaki treći broj – 100,97,94,91…

– Izaberite reč i ponavljajte je u sebi 5 minuta bez prestanka, kada vam postane lako probajte da povećate vreme na 10 minuta a da se koncentracija održi.

Najbitnije je da je osoba odmorna, naspavana, jer kad smo umorni ne mozemo biti skoncentrisani. Ove vezbe deluju zanimljivo, verujem da mogu da pomognu.
