Even a stubborn scientific circle is slowly laying down its arms in the face of evidence that supports the fact that this celestial body really has an impact on our mental and physical health.

Given the fact that the human body contains approximately 70% water, it is not illogical to assume that the Earth's satellite, in addition to raising and lowering the seas and oceans, also causes "tides" in our body.

Although based on increased irritability and tension, as well as numerous other negative manifestations such as murders and robberies, which have been observed to occur more often during the full moon, we could conclude that the energy of this celestial body does more harm than good, let's not jump to conclusions .

In this regard, it is extremely important to remember that the Moon amplifies the basic emotion. If the basic thought or emotion is negative, the Moon will intensify it.

Fortunately, the reverse is also true, and very little attention has been paid to that segment over the past time.

How the phases of the moon affect our lives

In a period of a month, the Moon goes through four basic phases or me - the new moon, the first quarter, the full moon and the last quarter, with each lunar month lasting 7 days.

The basis of the lunar calendar is that, during the "new moon", when its impact on living beings is very strong, plants that develop seeds outside are sown and planted (strawberries, cereals, lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower ... ). At this stage, the gravity of the plant absorbs moisture and is "received" the fastest.

Rise of the Moon

When the Moon is in the growth phase, gravity is lower, its energy is strong and it creates excellent conditions for leaf growth. During this period, one-year-old species that grow above the ground are planted, especially two days before the "full moon". Mowing the grass in the first and second phase encourages growth and density.

Full moon

During the "full moon", medicinal and spicy herbs are harvested, because then its effect is the strongest. This is a good period for planting bulbs and biennials and perennials. The moon is waning

During this period, the plants should be rested from sowing and planting. Then the soil is cultivated, the introduced leaves are removed, and pruning and transplanting can continue. During this period, the lawn is not mowed, because its growth slows down.

If you want to lose weight, during the growth of the Moon (from young to full), avoid high-calorie foods and eat less than usual. On the contrary, in the period of the waning moon, you can relax a little, because at that time the food will be harder to "receive".

Lunar phases and birds

The moons also affect the birds, more precisely their hormones. Daily variations of melatonin and corticosterone are lost during the "full moon". Some birds, such as albatrosses, become extremely active and agile at this time.
