Short Sunday Sermon: Billions are going to Hell

Good news follows so hang in there!

The other day my pastor in Texas stated that billions of people are going to Hell. He's right. It's quite unfortunate, too. Why? Because we read in 2 Peter 3:9 the following: "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

But we also read: "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matthew 7:13-14, NIV).

My pastor was/is spot on. Billions have and will reject God's free gift of salvation and go to Hell.

There is a solution to every problem, friends. Jesus is your ONLY hope for eternal life in heaven. You get to make the choice, either to pass through the wide gate or the narrow gate. God does not force you to do anything. He allows you free will.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, NIV).

There's your solution: Jesus. He died on the cross for YOU so you might live with Him in glory forever. We're all going to die, it's just a matter where we spend our eternity.

We also read: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them: (Genesis 1:27, NIV).

Now you can argue your 98 different genders until the caribou come home, but you are living a lie and are being deceived if you believe in any gender aside from male and female.

The primary problem is that the above-mentioned billions have reversed the Biblical truth of the above Genesis verse and have created a god in their own image. They worship false gods who can neither speak, see, nor hear a thing. And behind every one of these false gods is a demon, ensnaring people and ensuring them an eternity in the Lake of Fire reserved for the ungodly.

And when Jesus says a few, He means that the vast majority of individuals will pass on His promise to save and forgive them of their sins, and that only a minority of people will accept His free gift of eternal life in heaven.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, trusting in Him by faith alone? If not, I encourage you to do so today. Simply say something like this with a sincere and repentant heart:

"Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and deserve death. But I bend my knee to you and believe that Jesus died for my sins. Forgive me of my sins, Father, and I will make Jesus the Lord and Savior of my life and live to glorify Him. Amen."

Once we receive Christ and trust Him as our Lord and Savior, we are promised that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

So friends, let us rejoice! Let us praise God for His love and unequaled mercy towards us. Thank you, Jesus!

But here is the good news: For us who have placed our faith in Christ alone (and not of any works we have done), nothing can separate us from Him who saves. Nothing! We will enter in through the narrow gate that few find.

Whoa! Your pastor is correct. I've been a believer since 1990. I'm presently studying the book of Revelation verse by verse, and am now in chapter 13. I've been studying this book for 2 months now, soaking it all in and observing the End Times unfold daily via news headlines. I may never see you on this Earth, but we'll have eternity to met in Heaven one day.
