The previous 18 months wreaked havoc on many of our educational opportunities. Many schools closed or went to online teaching via #Zoom or other forms of online interaction. This caused me to research and find free classes at the university of high school levels. The good news is that if you really want to further your #education online, you're about to read the right post.
I have taken courses and classes from several of the institutions of higher learning below. Where I have not, I cannot ensure you of their reliability; however, where I have taken advantage of free classes, I'll make a point to inform you about my experiences.
Free language classes
In today's world, learning a second language gives you a competitive advantage over those who only speak one language. Most of my Philippine countrymen speak and write English but not always properly. Our native verbs are very different than English verbs which leads to mispronunciations. Additionally, the news and entertainers we watch on TV speak incorrect English and we tend to learn from them or pick up their bad habits.
But there is a solution! #Duolingo.
This free program is really, really cool. I recently completed a course in #Spanish. Each language course begins with the very basics and ends with advanced speaking and writing capabilities. Duolingo offers 40 language courses and you can work at your own pace. Visual and audio are provided and you have an opportunity with each lesson to speak phrases and be assessed. You not only speak but learn to write!
Give it a try. Again, it is very cool and educationally rewarding.
Free general and advanced studies
Earlier this year I completed a course on #Shakespeare online at #Harvard University for free. Lectures were audio/visual and really helped me to understand the Bard's profound writings and how and where he grew up, lived and worked. However, there are courses on everything you can think of on edX. From Architecture to Medicine, and from Art to Physics and Computer Programming, there are free courses available for online learners anywhere in the world.
The last time I looked, there were about 900 free classes! I plan on taking some more #literature classes after I complete some other courses, hopefully around #Christmas. And just so you know, these classes are from some of the best universities in the world and are not necessarily easy.
Coursera
Like edX, #Coursera offers a variety of free classes. While they do not have as many free classes as edX, they offer some classes and programs that edX does not.
I have browsed their website several times but have yet to take any classes. Many of the classes and programs appear to be really good and from top-notch U.S. universities. Sorting paid from free courses does take some time.
Computer learning
Knowing your way around a #computer is an essential skill all people should know. #Udemy offers a plethora of computer-related courses for free. From programming to tech, your needs will be met.
I took one class on ethical #hacking, which was how hackers work and how to protect my computers. It was excellent!

General classes
#Khan Academy is another free learning website. I have not taken any classes from them but they are highly recommended by #Forbes. Khan offers classes/courses in grammar math, art, computer programming, economics, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, finance, history, and more.
Browse around and see what might be of interest to you.
Christian studies
For those interested in either basic or far advanced studies in #theology or the #Bible, the Biblical Training Institute is a great place to learn entirely free, or you can pay for an inexpensive degree.
Classes range from the beginner (new Christian) to the #seminary level. All classes are audio and may be taken from a computer or smartphone. Books, PowerPoints and lecture transcriptions are also free.
I take classes from here and they are excellent! No, superb!

You're sure to find a class or course that meets your specific needs, and you may work at your own pace.
Wrap up
There are many more opportunities online but I have found these to be the very best so far. So if you are really interested in learning and advancing your knowledge, be sure to check out one or more of the links. Happy learning!
Nice been looking for free trainings and learning online :) its really nice to see this :)
