William Shakespeare as a poet
*************************************************
: William Shakespeare is famous for his experimental use of literature and style of writing. Shakespeare did not imitate the traditional Elizabethan poets when choosing the content of the poem. He has mixed simplicity with excellence in his poetry. As Professor Lagui puts it, his poems are "precious pearls of Elizabethan lyric poetry."
Use of Amitrakshara Rhyme: Shakespeare has used Amitrakshara rhymes throughout his literary life. The free rhythm helped him to experiment more. Most of the time he has used ten group lines. This use helped him to bring clarity in his expression and spontaneity in poetry.
Shakespeare's word selection: It is said that Shakespeare's vocabulary is the richest in world literature. It is said that Shakespeare's vocabulary contains about 20,000 words. His chosen words are fancy, realistic and lively. His nearest rival Milton has 9,000 words in his vocabulary, where the blind poet Homer used 8,000 words. This introduces the richness and diversity of William Shakespeare's use of words. His vast vocabulary indicates the most pervasive form of his art.
Use of the sonnet style: The word "sonnet" originates from the Italian word "soneto" which means "soft word" or "soft song". The fourteen verse poem "sonnet" was born in Italy in the thirteenth century. This style was used by Dante, Guinichelli, and Cavalcanti, and later by Petrarch.
Shakespeare has divided his sonnet into three quatrain stanzas and one final stanza (four-four-four-two lines) without using the traditional octave-six (eight-line-six-line) structure of the Petraki sonnet. This style has enriched his sonnets even more dramatically. The rhythms he used are - abab, cdcd, efef, gg.
Shakespeare did not show an addiction to the traditional lamentations of lovers like Petrarch, Surrey and Sydney. Rather, he speaks of the power of love that enables man to transcend worldly limitations and resurrect his own being.
Here are some of Shakespeare's quotes in his honor on his birthday:
“The whole world is a stage, and every man and woman is an actor on that stage; There are entrances and exits to this stage. '
"Everything is ready if the mind is ready"
"Love everyone, rely on very few people, do nothing wrong to anyone"
To be or not to be?
“The road to true love is never smooth”
In life, a person plays many roles on this stage. "
“My tongue is to express the anger of my heart,
It will break my heart to hide them. "
"There are many Cupids who shoot with arrows, and there are those who trap."
"Love is a mist created by the combination of countless warm sighs"
“Shall I compare you to a summer day? You're a little too loving and temperate. "
"Hey, will anyone teach me how I can forget to think!"
"Dear Brutus, the mistake is not in our stars but in ourselves."
“Take Suffering, Become Perfect”
"People say that no one has ever lived long enough to mature at a young age."
"Water is warm in the fire of love, but water cannot extinguish the fire of love."
“That love is not love
Which changes as soon as an alternative is found,
Or bends under any pressure:
Oh no! It is an eternal sign
Which keeps the spine upright even in thousands of storms
And does not tremble for a moment;
It is like a star in the night sky, a guide for those who are lost in the darkness
Which is priceless even if it falls from the sky
Love is never foolish, although pink lips and cheeks come to the fore in the circumference of its curved compass:
Love does not change within hours or weeks, but it lasts until the last day of judgment. ”
“To be honest is to be one of the thousands in the world”
“The Glory of Life in the Nation”
“Thought Free”
"If I hold my tongue, it will not bring good fruit except to break my heart."
“Don't Forget Me”
"I feel like it's gone but I don't know when."
The influence of William Shakespeare on his contemporary and contemporary poets is immense. William Shakespeare has influenced various poets and writers of each generation. The famous romantic poet John Keats, for example, was greatly influenced by Shakespeare. His poems imitate Shakespeare's style and imagery. The famous Victorian prose writer Thomas Carlyle called Shakespeare's literary work "the greatest, softest yet most powerful" of all literary influences. Novelists such as Aldous Huxley, Robert Stone, John Steinberg have used multiple phrases from Shakespeare's literary works. On the occasion of his birthday, there was deep respect for him.
