Mostly We Pay For Ignorance Than Value

It might interest us to know that most of the reasons we part away with our hard earned money isn't always for the value we require, more often than not it is for our ignorance. There are times we spend on value and that's is relatable, in this case we aren't cheated to spend higher than its true worth, but the moment people see that you're ignorant of the item or value of the services they tend to charge you higher, you'll be amazed how much gain people have incurred from rendering services that originally cost them almost nothing, this is part of the simple reasons why knowledge is key, there are deeper reasons why ignorance is dangerous.

One funny incidence that has always remained with me is one time I went to the market with my mom, before now I had gone to purchase this same item at a regular price, so I thought, so going there I already expected that we would spend the regular old amount. On getting there as soon as they saw I mean my mother and the seller they began to exchange pleasantries, as soon as mom asked for that item I got the shocker of my life, it was just slashed double, I've been buying it for over triple the price, I shouted in complain but she was just laughing, mine was better she said there are young men who pay more than 5 times the price, their ignorance is our gain.

How knowledgeable are you to the things you need, I don't mean we should start going about a market trying to get the cheapest price, if life was essentially about a market then it's ok but fortunately its not, there are other key areas we need to get knowledge so we won't be cheated as we would get our due dividends. We can only earn as much as we offer and we can only offer as much as we know, so likewise I could also day that we can only earn as much as we know, what then do you how? How well do you know? Most importantly what do you know. It takes a lot of people years to discover wealth has been laying next to them all this while.

A friend met with a long time friend of his who was a very good painter, however he has been painting regularly for little cash, his gigs were the regular need for a painter so he hasn't really made so much to feel like this profession would offer a lot, until a friend of his came in and saw his craft, this friend recently travelled back to the country, where he was coming from he was in a place where people made huge sum from paintings and drawings and had a few contacts, after a long discussion he contacted his friends and they exchanged ideas, most if his paintings started getting demanded and imported, he built a gallery house for exhibition.

When recently he was asked what happened, did he get better at his craft, was it because he improved on his craft, that he is so big on the market now? Of course there is always a need for improvement, if you don't improve then you can't survive in a world of competition, you may never top your game or be ready incase of opportunities whenever it comes, so everyone should improve, yes but if you're asking what makes the difference now, really it isn't because of the improvement, a little knowledge has been added from before and now, I had already improved on myself while I was working for little pay, up until I got exposed.

There were ways to earn that he never thought possible, he got exposed and helped in the process to getting to where he is, and likewise he is helping talents gain more ground and improve their income cause the world has enough for everyone of value. However one can be very good but ignorant of what to do with such abilities so he stays, and another could not be nearly as good as him but his aware of the things to do and so earns more, so more than improving which is important, we must seek the wisdom to push our abilities to the possible heights of opportunities available, however if we don't search or helped we may never discover such opportunities.

Ignorance is never an excuse, but knowledge doesn't come on it own either, so how then do we ensure we don't regret not getting as much as we should, probably by networking, trying to research for possible potentials that our handiwork offers as well as meeting people who could serve as a ladder to the heights we hope to attain. Ignorance isn't just for income and earnings alone, there is ignorance to life facts.

Real life knowledge like the food we eat that are the reasons for illness, or the food we should be eaten that we aren't, the right dosage and drugs, if our environment is as it should be, even in relationships, to study If that patner is truly the one or not, it cuts across every spheres of life, seeking knowledge can never be exhausted, if paramount we search into all things, especially the sensitive areas of life.

Once again I appreciate you time spent to read. Keep gaining knowledge, knowledge in itself if Magical.

Excellent point. Your article exactly reflects my own attitude and my own observations about this. I cannot agree more. Well written and explained too.
