I want to see a field full of dandelions because I wanted to start and make a wish.

It's the first of September and Christmas is really coming. From the christmas songs I hear early morning to the people around who cannot get off talking about christmas parties and more. Everyone seem so excited to have such enjoyment after two years of pandemic.

For me, I wanted to have christmas party too and exchange gifts. To have another moment with my colleagues and friends to be treasure. Way way back, christmas party is a year preparation for us. We start to plan ahead and save monthly for our contribution for the party so we can have more fun. However, I wanted to make a list of what to wish for.

• Christmas in Mindanao

It's been too long since the last time I went home in Cagayan de Oro and it wasn't Christmas. Actually, it was a short trip because I want to be at my brother's wedding. I even travel alone because I was in a hurry.

After how many years that my mother was away, I was happy that she decided to went home for good. And this makes me wish to spend the Christmas together with them. My children loves it too because they miss their grandparents so much.

• Tour in Mindanao

I have been missing a lot in Mindanao. Before I wanted to go home and let my children visits some tourist places I have been way back my younger years. Some of those places are more beautiful nowadays. So it is best to have a tour together with my whole family.

• More Pocket Money

Of course, I wish for more pockets full of money. A travel nearby is already costly and how much more a travel for a few miles away. So I really have to wish upon a star that I will win in a lottery so I can make my wishes come true this Christmas. Having to save $500-$600 just for the roundtrip fare is already a headache, right? Got to bring some delicacies and gifts to my parents and siblings too. Those travel tours expenses need also a big share. Thus money matters here.

Closing Thoughts

I wish I saw a genie to help me with my wishes. Yeah, if its true, I will really find him to help me make this all come true. Because to be honest, I just make my few first step to make this wish come true. I have some goals in life and its a long term goal. While these wishes are some short term goal while I can still have time to enjoy with my parents and siblings. I just miss them so much that I want to wish a Christmas with them.

We might be far and too long have been far from each other. Though family is family, missing them is like missing a piece of me. Thus pray, pray and pray. Work, work and work. Who knows, a miracle will happen to make my wishes come true.
