Annyeonghaseyo
is the most common way of saying “hello” in Korean. This version uses standard language.
Hello readers and co-writers, another day to be grateful because we are here again sharing our thoughts and life.
I am not korean nor I am studying korean language as well. I just know this word because it is basic and often times heard in many korean movies and series.
Without talking that much, I am glad to share my family's bonding time at home. With me working for 6days a week, a holiday and rest day is so important to me and my family. It is the time we can laugh together while watching korean series as our bonding moments.
Here are the best list of K-Drama that my family loves watching not just once, twice but loves to keep on watching it again and again.
Crash Landing On You
This is the first korean series that made me and my whole family watched together. Actually, I have no idea about this series before. One day I have no work and we cooked some popcorn and have some crackers too. Then we try to look what to watch and remember I have "Crash Landing On You" complete episodes in my USB. So we start watching it and my children loves the story. From those uniform men to their funny friendships. My children and even hubby and I also been tickled by the series.
But our favorite scene is the goodbye at the border. We try to make some predictions on what will happen and we talk a lot. Though my eyes still gets watery no matter how I hold it.
This is the series that made us all love Switzerland. After we watched this a fee years ago, we decided to watch it again last month. It was just out of blue and told my daughter that we will watch CLOY (CrashLandingOnYou) again. Without hesitations, they agreed and still laugh and cry as we watched it.
Sell Your Haunted House
Hong Ji-ah (Jang Na-ra) is a real estate broker and an exorcist. She owns Daebak Real Estate which offers the service to clean out buildings in which ghosts frequent and people have died in. She inherited the ability to exorcise from her deceased mother.
Oh In-beom (Jung Yong-hwa) is a con-artist who uses ghosts to earn money. He has a tragic past where his uncle died with no exact explanation why.
Hong Ji-ah and Oh In-beom team up to solve the secret behind her mother and his uncle's deaths 20 years ago.

My colleague give me a copy of this series. At first I ignore it since from the title itself, I thought it is scary or a horor series. My kids sometimes watch horor movies but I am afraid they will not like this. Though one time, we are all bored as we stayed indoors due to heavy downpour. We again check what we haven't seen yet. So we have on option but to try this series. To my surprise, they like it and we continue to watch all the episodes. But I really explain to them that the stabbing during exorcism cannot reenacted by them at home or during playtime because it is dangerous. I really have to do it so it wont lead them to confusions. However, we never watch it again because some stunta and action should be cautiously watch.
Uncanny Counters
This korean series was discovered once by hubby in a facebook clip. He was just scrolling and suddenly ask if my friends or colleague have a complete episode of Uncanny Counter. I asked why, he said it looks nice to watch since it showcase some bullied students being beaten up the disabled student they once beat.
So I try asking my friends but none. I went to search and download it myself.
The story centers on the character of the high school student with disability who is enlisted to be part of the Counters. It is a group of paranormal hunters who search for evil spirits that escape from the afterlife and fight them to be summon back to afterlife.
The Uncanny Counter have lots of lessons to be learn. You can see in the series that there is still good in an evil person. It depends on how you can conquer or get consumed by it.
Closing Thoughts
My family is really fond of korean dramas thus we do agree always watching the same korean series or movies. Yet at times I will not let them watch some series or movies with more violence. Because I have two little boys. I might get a headache if they grow following those beating up in what we watch.hahaha Just overthinking or shall I say, I am thinking ahead.
