Patronage: June Recap July is here! Goodbye June. It's another new month in 2021. How fast time is running and before we knew it, it's already 2022. Within June, I lost an uncle, had lots of busy days at work, fell ill a couple of times, then came the Euro cup and Copa America to keep my football loving self entertained and then the latest good news of my brother being offered admission to Teesside University, Middlesbrough and the urgent need for fund to make required payments. This is just a brief summary of how my June was spent. I welcome July with open arms and hope it would bring better fortune to my family and I. Happy new month to y'all. This is a recap of the Patronage activities in June, but before we head into the business of the day, allow me to share this little piece with you. **I have come** I have come to the living ground Brought to stay and live in bound Not to stay in brief like abductor But to feel lasting and ageing like doctor I have come to the social ground Where the greater bodies damage and easily pound; The least without minding their rate of survival And knowingly blocking the natural way of arrival I have come to the political ground Where we deny nature foolishly with fund Throwing away the young lives of ours With manipulated counts arriving at wrong hours I have come to the religion ground Where we all rush in and occupy the mould And we pray,and wail,and burn garment Yet stepping half out,we set evil as target I have come with hope to the writing ground Where words, papers, and pens seems more proud If allowed can make, change and correct the errors Leaving the nature and its creatures to reflect in new colors. **Back to the Patronage Recap.** At the end of the month, I post a recap of the Patronage activities - nominations rounds and beneficiaries. I also reward the most consistent nominators of the Patronage initiative. The initiative won't be successful without these users. This is my little way of incentivizing them to keep supporting the Patronage with their weekly nominations, likes, and comments. **About the Patronage** The intent of the Patronage which was started about 8 months ago is to encourage and support users, especially newbies and older users who have not been doing so well when it comes to earning tips from TheRandomRewarder. The intent is to tip their posts with the little amount I could afford at a particular time to encourage them to keep writing. Every week, two unique users are supported by patronage. To help out with selecting the two beneficiaries for each week, I always call on users to help me nominate such users. The nomination round of each week is announced on Wednesdays and users are allowed to nominate till Sunday when the beneficiaries of the week are announced. Patronage Beneficiaries In June, we had 4 rounds (weeks) of the Patronage - Week 23 to Week 26. The nomination round of each week was officially announced on Wednesday. The nomination runs to Sunday when all the nominations received from participating users (nominators) will be reviewed and the two users with the most nominations announced officially on Sunday as the beneficiaries for the new week. **The Patronage Package for Beneficiaries** Here are the benefits users receive as beneficiaries of each Patronage week: **Subscriber(s)**: the first benefit of been a Patronage beneficiary is that you'll get a new subscriber, me. I will subscribe to you and hope those other patronage supporters will do the same. **Sponsorship**: this offer is not available at the moment as I have been experiencing difficulty sending a sponsorship offer. **Tips**: I will get to read and tip up to 7 articles you published within the week of being a beneficiary. **The Patronage Beneficiaries in June** We concluded 4 nomination rounds in May which produced a total of 8 beneficiaries - 2 beneficiaries per week.
