Everybody was Crying
One quiet evening, I got home to find my mother crying in her room. I asked her what was happening. Not a word she said. I went to the other room, and saw my siblings crying, I asked them what was happening, not a word was said.
I went outside, and saw my aunts and uncle in tears. One of my aunts was crying so hard that her body shivered. I asked them what was happening, but they said no word. Then cane rushing some women, crying. They sat next to my mom, crying and consoling. Then I was it... Everybody was crying. The palm wine tapper, the lady in black, two old men by the road. Little children and earn the birds in the trees. All crying... I thought to myself, what is happening? The answer came unexpectedly from myself, I was crying as well. Tears running down my face. I was standing before my father's graveyard... not a word I said.
Then, I woke from the dream. It was not just a dream, but a reality within a dream.

A sad story for you,
Am sorry for your loss... I lost my dad too. I have regrets for not repaying the hardships and sacrifices he did to raise me up ๐ข But rest assured that their souls are at rest.. Its my only consolation.
I agree. I harbour the same regrets as well. But we can't change the hands of time, can we?
We can't. It will remain in our memories and nothing more. We are only left with "what ifs"
sorry for the loss...i understand how u feel๐๐๐
I feel sad and my tear fell down when I was reading it. I can feel the sadness behind this article. I can fee you sir
The pain of losing someone is really unbearable especially if this someone is the one who brought you here into this world. ๐ I lost my dad 10 yrs ago and until now I couldn't let go of that pain. Sorry for your loss. The only consideration we have is to think that they are already in peace and there will be no more pain.
Mine is close to three years. The loss is still fresh in memory. Something triggered it and led to this article. Thanks
I understand even I experienced the same way. I'm a certified daddy's little girl I have 4 siblings but I'm the only daughter . You know how a daddy's little girl is right?
I'm feeling very sad for your loss. We know that favorite one's place never can be replaced by anything. So your beloved person lives in your heart . Don't be sad we all are with you.
