Some of us know about and have participated in at least one of the CoinMarketCap "Learn and Earn" campaigns which was launched to help users learn about new crypto projects and earn some of the projects token after testing their knowledge on the project via a short quiz.
In the IoTeX project, you can learn about the project and its IOTX token, and then complete a short quiz and other requirements to receive a reward of 200 IOTX tokens.
Without much ado, let's proceed to the step-by-step guide on how to earn the 200 $IOTX token.
1. What you Get
Users willing to participate in the IoTeX learn and earn campaign needs to have a
CoinMarketCap account: First off, you need to have an account on CoinMarketCap. If you don't have one already, you can create one here. the campaign is on the CoinMarketCoin platform and available to the users.
Binance account: You need a Binance account to receive the token during distribution. Don't have a Binance account? Go here to create one.
2. Watch the IoTeX Lesson Videos
Once you have the Binance and CoinMarketCap accounts, proceed here to get started.
There are a total of four lesson videos. The videos will help you learn about the IoTeX project. You're required to complete the lessons before starting the quiz as the answers to the quiz are contained in the videos.
The longest video of the lessons is one minute and twenty-six seconds (1:26 mins) while others are just a minute and 10 seconds (1:10 mins).
3. Start and Complete the Quiz
After completing the four lesson videos, you can start the short quiz to put your newfound knowledge of the IoTeX project to the test.
Step #1: Click on the "Start" button on the campaign page to get started.
Step #2: Complete the reCAPTCHA to verify that you are human and not a robot. Then move to the next ➡️
Step #3: Accept the Terms and Conditions: Check the "I agree with the CoinMarketCap Earn Terms and Conditions." box and click on the next icon to proceed.
Step #4: Select yes to agree to have read the FAQ.
Step #5: Enter the "Email address" associated with your CoinMarketCap account in the space provided.
Step #6: Enter your "Binance User ID" in the space provided. Learn how to find your Binance User ID here.
Step #7: Answer the Quiz Questions
The IoTeX short quiz is comprised of 6 questions. You need to give the correct answers to all the questions for a chance to receive the IOTX token reward. To help you answer the questions correctly, I have taken the time to write out the questions are their answers. It's now up to you to go through the correct answers to the 6 questions below and choose the right answer when completing the quiz on the CoinMarketCap platform.

Q2: What are the four core technology pillars of the IoTeX platform?

Q6: What are the first blockchain networks that IoTeX has built cross-chain bridges to?
Answer: Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon
Step #8: Complete the 3 IoTex CoinMarketCap campaign activation requirement steps and copy/paste the “CMC Earn Code” at the end.
Requirement #1: The first requirement is to become a follower of at least one of their four social media channels - Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and Github. You don't have to join all the channels, you need just one to proceed.
Requirement #2: The second required campaign step is to enter your Email address in the space provided to subscribe to their newsletter.
Requirement #3: the third campaign step is to download and install the IoPaY wallet on your device. The desktop and mobile versions are available.
After completing the three campaign activation requirements, you scroll down to copy the "CMC Earn Code". The CMC Earn Code is Join-IoTeX-100. After copying the code, return to the quiz page and paste the code in the space provided.
Step #9: Enter your IoTeX address: After installing IoPay wallet downloaded from the previous step, you've to create a wallet and copy the IoTeX address which can be found at the top of your screen as shown in the image below. Launch your IoPay wallet app and tap the address to copy it.
Return to the quiz page and paste the copied address in the space provided
Step #10: Add IoTeX to your to your CoinMarketCap account "Watchlist", enable the Public watchlist, and copy the link. Click to see how to add IoTeX to your watchlist and how to enable the Public Watchlist and copy the link. After copying the public watchlist link, return to the quiz page and paste it in the space provided. Then click "Submit".
Step #11: Submit Form: Scroll down the next page, to complete the reCAPTCHA to verify you are not a reboot and then click on "Submit form" to complete the quiz.
Earn $IOTX Reward
After successfully completing the IoTeX lessons, short quiz, and other requirements, you are eligible to get 200 IOTX tokens as a reward.
Reward Distribution
The IoTeX project learn and earn campaign on CoinMarketCap will end on August 8, 2021.
200 IOTX will be distributed to each of the first 5000 winners. So, completing the quiz early guarantees your reward.
200 IOTX each will be randomly distributed to 20,000 winners from all the users who completed the quiz before the deadline.
If you haven't participated in the campaign, do now to have a chance at earning 200 IOTX.
How to Add IOTX Token to WatchList
Step 1: Log in to your CoinMarketCap account and tap the Search icon at the top right corner of your homepage.
Step 2: (1) Enter "IoTeX" in the search box and (2) select IoTeX (IOTX)
Step 3: Click on the grey star icon on the right side of your screen and it will change to this ⭐️.
With this, it has been added to your Watchlist.
There are other ways to add coins to your watchlist, I will leave you to figure that out.
How to Create/Enable the Public Watchlist
You can enable your CoinMarketCap Watchlist to be "Public" so you can access the watchlist link and share it with your friends.
Step 1: Go to the Watchlist page: Click on the menu - the three horizontal line icon at the top right corner and select watchlist from the menu list.
Step 2: Click on Share and enable the watch list as Public: After visiting the watchlist page, (1) Click on the "Share" button and then (2) enable to Public from the pop-up box.
After enabling it, it will turn from grey to blue colour as shown in the image above. Then you can copy the Public Watchlist URL/link by clicking on "Copy".
