Silver lining

Every situation has a silver lining

To let you know

That though the clouds are dark

The sun is still a shining!

So wipe away those tears and quit a pining

Every moment is up to your defining

Whether or not your life will be a rhyming

Can never let the shear joy of life be stymied

To hum and whistle not a care in sight

I think from the Almighty I have this right

To charge on through in Faith rhinoceros like!

Your magnificent! decorative box wrapped in bow!

More precious (pause) than you'll ever know

Unseachable!

..."but", you say "I have a mind!"

His riches run too deep to find!

Donkey Kong level beyond the skies!

God in a sense has quite outdone himself

Made that which you cannot put a price upon

Grace the means, His Love the wand

And though downpours drench the clothes you wear

Attitude's th'umbrella you can carry everywhere!

Stars innumerable adorn God's heaven

Equally bright, but on their closeness depends

The brilliant bedazzled effect they have!

The incandescent heart that gave!

The out of dirt masterpiece He made!

O' breath of God! Sweet serenade!

Immortal life! The angels long to look into these things!

That no matter how things change

No matter how dark the cloud

The silver lining still remains.

When you find yourself in the place

Where all the wrongs you or someone have done

Are smudged up in your face

When you know that hell for you or them

Would be too good a place

And Forgiveness when you wake

Your first breath takes.

Filled with dew drops that darken the whole

So heavy it just has to let go...

Drenched from head to toe, this fella...

Circumstances spread the happy, my Nutella

Perspective is my perpetual umbrella!

Sometimes the sky we see seems all gray

From where I am the clouds seem so close

But their six to twenty-five thousand feet away

Which leads me to believe and say...

That not nearly all clouds preach dismay

But a greater good do convey

That Hope is not Hope, if she can be seen

Now shut your eyes and only believe

Silver linings are rolled up sleeves

Mental dexterity

Clarity.

And to make it clear, life's 'to a fault' fair

To the indolent, egocentric and scared

Things that are seen are temporal, disappeared

While the things that are not seen are eternal

And one's own heart is often one's own inferno

If you set the price, life'll pay the fare

Challenge you in a game of truth or dare

Pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, no nickel and diming

Positive energy of wind chimes chiming

Here comes that friend with perfect timing

It's crazy how we have to be reminded

That every cloud really does have a silver lining!

Some see it without even trying

Some with their last breath dying

Influenced by our point of view

Catapulted by our attitude

Just THINK...the sun is always shining!

In the heavens in CONTROL reclining

No matter what your cloud's HEADLINING

Catch here the theme that I'm underlining?

That FEAR and WORRY are impostors to your superior mind

That FAITH and HOPE and LOVE will aid you in your climb

Till you peer over the silver linings edge one day

And are persuaded of these things I say.
