Why Filipinos hate the Philippines Government
As I said from my past article I`m a Filipino and I lived in the Philippine all my life, ever since I was a little child the people, the government and the environment never change at all. I can still see news about the non sense killings, drugs still roam the streets while the police can do anything to stop it, I still see children In the street begging for money instead of going to schools and most of all I still see officials sitting still in their chairs while the whole country is in chaos.
I know almost all my fellow Filipinos will and agree and some will not. But those who will say that Philippines is in great shape are blind or they are to rich to care about all the commotion happening now.
But the question is why is that the Philippines never change and it get worse as the years pass by. Who`s fault is it that the economy is crashing slowly over the past few years? Can we really blame al of this to our government and say that they are bad in their jobs?
There are so many thing we can talk about the Philippines but in this article we will talk about the government and its people. How the Filipinos are blinded by the money and speech during elections, what is the big problem and how to prevent it from happening again.
The Election
During the election candidates is all over the place, we can see them in the television, social media, news papers and even in roads with their posters and fliers almost every where. Everyday we can hear their speeches about how they can change or improve the country if they win the election. And if the election is near there will have debates participated by the candidates tackling some issues in the Philippines that needs a solution quickly. This is normal, the campaign phase is how they spread their plans and let their names be heard by the masses.
The problem is what is the content of their speeches and if the listeners will listen. This is where the problem begins if the candidates are good enough to manipulate the people through their voice, if they are able to spread lies and sure that the people will believe it.
I know all of us can relate to this, politicians always say plans and goals during the campaign and if they win you will never hear anything form them ever again. This is normal hear in the Philippines shouting lies and teach false idea while manipulating the people to listen until the people believe on what they are saying. That is the first problem. The second problem is when the people or the voters believe that lies and false ideas. And when the election come they will vote for the wrong candidate because of that.
Other problem is vote buying which is very prominent hear. Candidates will distribute money ranging from 500 to 1000. They will give it to people especially those people in the lower part of the system, people who is currently under poverty. This will result to the thinking that the people will vote for that candidate because they receive money from it. Do you see the problem? They will vote for the wrong candidate who save them for a day instead voting for the candidate that will save them form many years. And i don`t blame for that because they need the money so badly.
There are other problems like voter do not conduct background research before voting. They will just vote who they see often in the television and social media. There are cases of stealing the ballot boxes from small municipalities.
And one of the biggest problem, during the campaign some of the candidates will die or become loss suddenly. i think you know why right? There opponent will pay a hit man to kill the other candidate and that is mess up. Last election killing get out of hand in many municipalities it does not matter if the municipality is small or big. This one of the biggest problem, kill other people for power? I think its not worth it. Because of the politics many family are broken and uneasy in their everyday life.
Don`t get me wrong not all candidates are like this I just talk about the bad side because I know we all see it in the same way. Some politicians are great and we can see their great ambition and dreams for our country but there are only few of them.
This is the beginning of my series I hope you like it next article I will write about the aftermath of the election. I hope you read it and leave a comment so we can talk about this certain topic. I know many of the Filipinos think the same way as me, I know many people are suffering right now because of the government wrong moves and choices. We all hope for better Philippines so lets do our part in the process.
You state some obvious truths but you also exaggerate in a big way. In fact, you spread disinformation and should be ashamed of yourself. You stated you have lived in the Philippines all of your life. Okay, cool. But that means you've never been to other countries. Ergo, you are clueless to the plight of other countries. You do not realize how many people would love to have the freedom we have. You dishonor Jesus by neglecting your grace and the goodwill he has given you. Shameful.
Are politicians crooked? Sure. But guess what, they are crooked in EVERY country. Wake up and grow up!
If you're so smart and have all the answers, run for office! Ah, wait, you just want to run your head and be a pitiful activist. There are many like you, all talk, no action. Typical. Very typical. Uneducated know-it-all's. Shameful!
I'll tell you what, unlike MOST Filipinos, we are proud of our heritage and country. Are things 100% great? Nope. But there are many improvements. You just see the negative. How sad a person you are!
Wake up, grow up and go find a job, because your lies and rhetoric will not earn you a peso. You are shameful, just pitifully shameful!
