It is fun and scary to think how deep our mind can be or in other cases how shallow it can be. The endless possibilities of our mind to think in every possible way can be both dangerous and good. How our mind thinks or acts with anger and hate or love and care can affect the outcome of everything. Powerful minds and a wrong bearer can be a bad tandem while a good mind and a good bearer are hard to find. How our mind influences everything is so overpowered, that is what makes us humans. The way we make decisions and sometimes it led to our own demise like how many inventors are killed by their own inventions. And lastly, many people and inventors witness how their life work is used against them or against the world, how their inventions killed millions or even erase the whole city on the map.
Are we humans worthy of holding such power, in an instant, we can change the world and even its history? Can we manage to outnumber those wrongdoings or its just too late for us to make a difference?
In the course of history, many minds fascinate the whole world because of their inventions. An invention that sometimes makes our life easier, but some of it is just useless. Some inventions are for good things like how to hold and use energy more efficiently, but as the evil mind takes control of it, it can cause an apocalypse. Here are some ruthless inventions in the course of our history:
1. Zyklon B (hydrocyanic acid) also called Cyclone B, was invented in Germany in the early 1920s. Bruno Tesch, one of the inventors that are responsible for the misuse of this chemical during World War 2. Before the war, this chemical is used as a pesticide in the agricultural industry, but everything changes when they discover that it can kill humans.
During the holocaust in the killing center, they will fill the room with people and when the room is full, they will close the door and screw it shut. And once the door is locked the vents at the top of the room will open and drop solid pellets of Zyklon B. Upon breathing in, the vapor forms the chemical combination with the red blood cell, the people that inhaled it can die in less than 20 minutes due to oxygen starvation.
2. Serin Gas
Is one of the most widely used and effective nerve agents because a simple drop of it can be lethal in only a few minutes. It is an odorless and colorless liquid when at room temperature but when heated it will evaporate in an instant. Discover by Dr. Schrader in 1938 for insecticide use, but this chemical was put to misuse by the Nazis as a chemical weapon.
This chemical is used many times in history to provide destruction in enemy territories. Serin Gas was used in the Halabja poison gas attack, Iran-Iraq War, and the Syrian Civil War.
3. Chlorine gas
World War 1 is also called the “Chemist War” because many weapons that war is chemicals or gases and one of the most used the Chlorine gas. Chlorine gas, also called the Bertholite, was first used by the Germans in World War 1 in the Second Battle of Ypres, France in April 1915. The Germans launched a thousand of containers containing chlorine gas across the battlefield killing hundreds of French troops.
The chlorine gas can affect the body in many ways, it causes a burning sensation in the eye, uncontrollable blinking, redness, and inflammation and it can also damage the cornea by burning the cell in it.
4. TNT
TNT or the Trinitrotoluene, is one of the most used explosives for military, industrial and mining applications. It was developed by a German chemist, Joseph Wilbrand in 1863, he had no idea his invention will be used in war and will change the world forever. In 1902, it was discovered that TNT could be used as a destructive weapon in war if a change in a certain way. During World War 1 and 2 TNT are used in the battle by both sides creating massive destruction.
5. Atomic Bomb
The deadliest bomb man ever invented. Humans witness what this bomb can do on August 6, 1945, at 8:16 AM after the Enola Gay an American B-29 bomber dropped the bomb in Hiroshima. 80, 000 people are killed as a direct hit and another 35, 000 people are injured and at least 60, 000 people will die at the end of the year because of the fallout
This is the power of human minds, it`s up to us how we will use it. With our mind we can make a better or chaotic future, we can always choose what to do and when to act.

It's really terrifying how humans acting like gods in creating such massive and destructive weapons, in this generation in which technology became more advance, its more terrifying because some evil scientist and dictator leaders in their countries are developing weapons that can wipe out a city or country in a single click. I can't imagine how far can human invent such things that can destroy this planet and put humans in extinction. Its really horrible to think that it may happen in the future due to misunderstanding and different beliefs of people.😔😔😔
