Shalban Bihar (Shalban Vihara) :

This is one of the most important or famous ARCHEAOLOGICAL Buddhist Bihar of Bangladesh which is situated at Kotbari,Comilla.

It was founded at the end of 8th century by The king Bhavadev . Where all new buddhist student came for learnt religious knowledge or prayer .But now there is only the archaeological ruin of this Bihar. This is the main attraction of this place. It has a larger compound area with a big garden around the main complex now. Many type of trees and flowers increase the area Beauty.I visited this place many time but when I go there feel something new and feel refreshment. There are a lots of things to chose and discover there. There are also many archaeological elements and historical sings we may see in the Maynamati museum which is situated near the Bihar.
