Neither hastened nor delayed comes the time appointed
The meeting with your Lord precisely is it minuted
Before you were born was its time decided
Aged or young surely will be visited
Neither by affluence or influence can it be persuaded
Take heed and prepare for this visitor unexpected
Its arrival with compassion or aversion shall it be heralded
With its visit will dreams and aspirations be ended
What have you prepared for the time appointed?
