PancakeSwap deploys on Ethereum
As part of its 2022 road map to go multichain, one of the top AMM on the Binance Smart Chain network has taken a significant leap with it's deployment of its swap and liquidity packages on the Ethereum network.
This feat was executed on 27th September, 2022. Consequently upon visiting PancakeSwap.finance the upon of switching between it's birth chain i.e. BSC and Ethereum is now available via a drop down menu as show in the screenshot below.
The following tokens are currently available for Swapping on the Ethereum network:
Ethereum
USDT
USDC
Wrapped Ethereum (WETH)
Three farms are to be initially deployed on Eth Chain. The pairs to be accommodated in this initial deployment are:
ETH/USDT
ETH/USDC
WETH/ETH
The proposed date for deployment is 10th October , 2022 which is just a few days away.
As stated in the infographic for the deployment, the Chefs i.e. devs will adjust emissions based on volume and performance of pairs between 10th and 17th October.According to the deployment plan all issues related to Cake emissions for the farms on the Eth Chain ought to be concluded by 17th October.
Clicking on the earn option which usually brings up the sub menu for farms and pools on BSC currently will result in a prompt to switch networks as the farms aren't yet deployed neither are other features such as IFO et al. which are available on BSC.
While we keep our fingers crossed as the the deployment on Ethereum chain progresses, we eagerly await further deployment on other chains. I personally think they'll likely be considering the Polygon chain next. On which chain or network do you think PancakeSwap will deploy next?
After seeing several ads for Luckster around the web, I finally decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the platform runs and the variety of games available. The first few rounds weren’t great, but I stuck with it and eventually landed a good win. It’s a great way to de-stress after work, and being in the UK, it’s nice to have a platform that’s reliable and fun. I definitely recommend it!
