Informatics can help uncover potentially dangerous treatment or prescription errors, improve patient record retrieval, improve health insurance accuracy, and increase the protection of patient information, to name a few essentials. It focuses on discovering current medical trends that can be applied to various health issues and improve patient care processes. It also helps to improve patient care by giving correct information derived from patient data and reducing care delivery errors. Health Informatics makes life easy for nurses and Doctors. They receive automatic reminders to complete tests, and exams or follow standardized treatment standards. They get more prescriptions per month, have built-in decision help, and drug testing, and can manage all pediatric dosing.

The built-in features allow for more thorough care by not only delivering the information needed to make the best decisions but also sharing that information with anyone else in the health- care system who encounters that patient. They have the potential to improve clinical research by making it faster and easier than it is now. It's not easy to go from pen and paper communication to entirely digital records. There will be some initial fees and modifications. It takes time to adapt quickly. There will be new software, improvements, and ways of doing things on a regular basis. Hospital employees must keep up with such changes to maintain a competitive edge. This can be difficult for certain employees, particularly the older ones. Patient records can also be accessed securely from public locations such as libraries.

B. Discuss how it can help in terms of safety in your future health care practice and for patient safety in terms of nursing care management.

Nursing informatics focuses on the best approaches to generate optimal patient outcomes by aligning nursing best practices with clinical workflows and care. It's all about using the overall process and best practices to provide the greatest possible treatment to patients. Nurse informaticists are frequently involved in process design, clinical workflow reviews, and new diagnosis and treatment plans because of this. They analyze multiple care options and use objective facts and analysis to determine which activities will result in the most patient-centered, value-based care. Nursing informaticists can help a healthcare institution reduce the risk of medical errors and their associated expenses. Staff training, procedural improvement, and best practice will all help to improve care quality and reduce patient hazards.

My suggestion that I think can improve the systems or protocols is more federal research and training resources will be needed. Assessing and improving health care and health outcomes; reducing disparities in health care for minorities; building the data infrastructure to support quality assessments and improvement; and balancing patients' interests in privacy protection and protection of their health and safety are all things that nursing informatics should focus on. Patients can use informatics to offer crucial information to their clinicians and to share that knowledge with family, friends, and other patients. Patients may be able to take more influence over their medical care with this knowledge. We also need to strengthen nursing informatics professionals' proficiency by studying three categories: computer skills, informatics knowledge, and informatics skills. Computerized searches and retrieving patient demographic data, the use of telecommunication devices, the documentation of patient care, the use of information technologies to improve nursing care, and the safe use of networks and computer technology are all examples of computer skill skills.
