Have you ever wondered what really happened to us when we die?
All over the world, almost 150,000 people died every day. Truth is that 10 out of 10 people will surely die when his time comes. We will all die, regardless of our beliefs, ready or not, one day our life will come to an end.
So what really happens after we die? Many believes that after we die, our soul will go to purgatory wherein the loved ones of the deceased will pray for his soul to be able to go to heaven. While other believes about reincarnation, wherein people believe that they will be born again as a new person, or a butterfly or any animals depending on how you spend your previous life. There are also some people who believes that after one person dies, his soul will keep roaming around like ghosts.
What does the bible say about this topic? The answer depends on how you spend your life before you die. If you truly, honestly repent on your sins and believe that Jesus is the only way to be saved, you will have an eternal life in heaven.
John 3:16 : “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
As a Christian, I believe in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. And that we will be judged by our actions or how we spend our life on the judgement day.
But how about those who believe in reincarnation? But first, what is reincarnation?
Reincarnation, also known as rebirth or transmigration, is the philosopical or religious belief that the non-physical essence of a living begins a new life in a different physical form or body after biological death.
The major religions that hold a belief in reincarnation, however, are Asian religions, especially Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism, all of which arose in India.
The concept of Reincarnation has been studied and researched on extensively in the last few decades. While there is no scientific theory that supports the reincarnation or rebirth, the fact that the life after death does exist.
It is said that in human life, each soul goes through seven forms of reincarnations and each time, while the body is new, the soul remains the same. After the seven life cycles are complete, the soul is automatically released from the shackles of life and death.
It is said that karma, both good and bad decides our faith our faith for the next life. If we do good karma, we might have a blessed life in the next life cycle, while poor karma can make us be born in poor conditions.
No matter what we believe in, no matter what religions we have, what will happen to us when we die depends on how we spend our life. If we do good, we will have a better life as a Christian or as a reincarnated person, and if we do bad things in life, well, you probably know what will happen to you.😉
